NMA Podcast Round 4 - Far Harbor and more

I made it into the public one again. Looking for the NMA chatroom.

I'm going to be in this ts server voice.teamspeak.com

Once you join find a channel near the lower end called "No Mutants Allowed - Podcast"

Pass is NMA all caps. If you have problems finding the channel hold control + f and type the name of the channel in the search bar

I got a response this morning-

@AgentBJ09 - Yeah, it's Friday.

Jamie, my apologies - crazy busy week. So:

- Was gone most of last week, so the 18th ended up coming and going before I got back to you.
- I haven't ever used TeamSpeak, but if you walk me through it, happy to download it and use it.

- If you want to use Skype, I'm fine with that as well.

If you're up for doing a recording Friday after noon PST, I'm down. Next week (the week of the 27th) is fine as well (would be a Friday again, if possible).

This is up to you, but if you would be willing to send me the questions in advance, happy to research the answers (sometimes I find that digging will make more interesting responses, since sometimes I can't recall the exact dates or details of a specific question).

Let me know!
Chris

@AgentBJ09 are you going to broadcast/stream the podcast to your youtube channel?

Yep. For some dumb reason, Teamspeak doesn't record beyond 40 minutes, so all the saved audio has to be spliced, and then applied to a static image or video.

I'm going to test the recording time later today to find out if that's a memory issue or if it was because I switched channels mid-cast. If the latter, I'll use my laptop to record alongside my desktop.

Actually, that works in my favor a bit. I'll let you know what I hear back from my coworker.

EDIT: I'm currently splicing together the audio from the podcast and picking out the background image and intro theme. Found a few greats from Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey that might work if something strikes me besides the Project Brutality theme.

EDIT #2: As of 4:00 a.m. CST I'm rendering a portion of the video to see how big the video file turns out and how it looks overall; coming along nicely so far. (That said, I'm stuck using Sony Vegas 13 on trial since my legit, store bought copy of SV9 is no longer usable. "Expired" license and all that bull.)

Hey @Millim have you already emailed him the question list?
I'll prob end up doing that in the next few minutes, thanks for reminding me.
Btw, what was the name of the server we are going to be using tomorrow? (So I can send Chris the Instructions on how to find us).

How'd the podcast actually go? From the posts here it sounds as though there were quite a few problems.

We need to find out from @TransgenderVaultDeweller. Soon as he's on, I'll ask him.

@Izak: We ended up using the public voice server, and aside from a single recording drop, things went well.

EDIT: I'm halfway done with the podcast and partner video. I'll upload a sample here shortly so everyone can see what the current version looks like.

EDIT #2: Here's the sample. It's only 30 or so minutes, but I found way to disguise the missing recording from early in the cast.

-Video Deleted-

EDIT #3: I should have this up by tonight. Have to deal with something my roommates just told me.

So what were the questions you sent him? I posed this question a couple pages back:

Now is it to late to pose another question for the interview? Because I'd love to know if he feels the Rpg market is oversaturated with fantasy settings.

There seems to be a massive lack of rpgs with
Horror themed settings
Western themed settings or rpgs set in the wild west
Rpgs set in the afterlife
I'd like to know if any of these setting sound like a good idea for an rpg to him. And if they sound like settings he'd like to work on
Did that make It onto the list you sent him?

- Thread started June 8th 2016
- Thread regarding a pod cast
- Pod Cast definition: a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.
- Private video
- No link to actual pod cast
You know, if you guys want to save time you could just tell us all the Chris did the Interview, but he did it while he was making breakfast at home and no one recorded it.

I just sent off the Questions that was in the list from a couple weeks ago
And yeah, I put that question in.

Awesome. Of all the questions I asked that was the one a was most curious about. Thanks for dispelling my worries.
