I would say that's pretty unfair to say. I mean most people know pretty well what they get when they buy Beth products like Skyrim or F3. We should really not get to much in to it.
 
Yeah no, they aren't stealing anyones money, the Bethesda fans know what they are buying and Technically speaking their games offer good value for your dollar by sheer number of "hour of content". I mean, they aren't pulling any Ubisoft/EA bullshit (yet).
The question of wether their games are good of if their influence on the industry and their threatment of the Fallout franchise is something else entirely.

Seriously guys, hating on Bethesda for the content they make is one thing. Beeing unreasonable another. This is exactly the kind of behaviour that people talk about when they say NMA is full of shit! Not that I care much about what other people say, but I am just saying we should just take a step back here.

I did get over it ages ago and that's why I don't buy from beth or other AAA brands because of this current gaming industry ideals. I'm not the target market.

You are wrong about developing a specific game audience however. Because if Beth put the quality over quantity they could products awesome story.. lore.. meaningful characters game would sell itself and build an audience as it has done in the passed.. But what Most AAA are doing is cheap.. quick.. easy money. No real value. I get it. But I don't have to support it and I won't.

Turn based might be dead, but that doesn't mean that Fallout can't be made with an engaging story, a cast of memorable characters, etc.
