We are using photoshop for editing (I'm also using gimp and paint)
and for the recompressing of the frms we using the frameanimator.
 
Good . because i make a Black Power Armor at the moment(all the hero animations :mrgreen: ), and i notice that some of your grafiks arent seperate i had the same problem because i've used frm workshop for frm converting. Just a tipp use the method from Lisac's tutorial and you do not will have any problems with this.( I know this because my 2 day work mow in the trash^^)

And i will help because i think this project its one of the best ever made for Fallout you make one of my dream in FO come true thx you guys and keep this great work!

Some other question are you both workin on it alone or some else is hel you? Whats about Ranger?
What have you done? what not?
Because i'm working on a project to extent the MK (( Armors look and meaby with some animation ican help you.
 
Most of the work was done by Josan I just done some frame on metal armor for Vic and made him a leather jacket and armor. The combat armor was made fully by Josan. He using a mc so I'm extracting him the frames. Also I repaired some pixels, and made the gif files that have been posted here. Josan now checking the finished frames and begin to make Sulik.Well I was busy with my shcool stuff luckily now I'm going to have a bit more freetime so I will begin to make an other char after this week, I don't know which one. I don't know whats up whit Ranger and Mr. Bean

I thought your dream was an animated head shot, you posted that one enough :lol: but seriously good work guys and good work Wolna.

1.More Deathanimations(Headshot)
2.Weather Effects
3.Extendet Armors(for NPC too) <<<< I make a Mod!
4.More Portraits <<< I make a mod!
5 More Attack Animations and Weapons <<<<< I make a Mod!


And the other Stuff did Killap with his patch and extend Project!

And hell, my name will not be Mr.Wolna when i did'nt make my dreams came true.
Meaby not all because some is hardcodet but i will try my best!

Your help would be appreciated, Mr Wolna. I just recently figured
that without any help it will probably take jotisz and i around
2-3 months minimum to finish this mod. And got a bit depressed
as a result. :cry:

But like i said, it will get finished. So to answer your question:
it seems fallout ranger and mr bean are no longer working on
this. Fallout ranger did say he's done some on sulik but i've
not heared from him so im starting from scratch on him.
So, as it stands, i think the mod will consist of:

1) Vic: jacket, leather, metal and combat armour - DONE
power armour (all types) use generic Hero FRM's

2) Sulik: combat - DONE
jacket, leather, metal - TO DO (i am doing these now)

power armour (all types) use generic Hero FRM's
(unless someone wants to make him barefoot, but
i'd consider that a bonus and not necessary)

3) Cassidy: combat - DONE (in another mod, according to mr wolna
can someone request them for inclusion in this mod and
Killaps expansion?) leather - DONE (this is his default
FRM's)
jacket, metal, power - TO DO.

I would suggest that jotisz and mr wolna take jacket and metal
between them. I beleive cassidy is the easiest as all that needs
to be done is to paste his bald head onto the hero FRM's. This
should require minimal photoshopping... unless anyone has some
suggestions for characterising cassidy?

I will take care of sulik. I think those 3 main NPC's are enough
to go ahead and release the mod. We can then expand on it
with nyron and lenny later.

Sound like a plan?
 
Yes it does, i just finished (3 days work) a Black Power Armor(with all the Hero Animations. so belive it was a lots of to do :mrgreen: )

What about Cassdy i thouth the leather jacket is done?
About the Combat armor the are not all weapons for cassidy done but it ok to use i have asked Lexx a long time ago.
And i think cassidy is the easyiest to make so please let me do that, cause i workink on 3, 4 project at the same time :mrgreen:
(Because i have 3-4 months very much freetime and i love fallout)


So i hope its ok when i make cassidy.
 
@ mr wolna - great. go ahead and start on cassidy.
You need to unapck the Hero FRM's (it sounds like
you know this process already) and paste cassidy's
head on. Let Jotisz know what armour set you are
doing so he can take another.

What makes you think cassidy in leather jacket
is done already?

Does anyone have any suggestions on characterising
sulik? (see the page before in this thread)
 
I like the gifs of sulik very much. Bare feeted and his unique head does the trick imo.

Vic I don't really like.. maybe If it was more easier to use another model for Vic. but it wouldnt be Vic anymore huh? since Vic is a fat ass.
 
It would be nice to see vic with ian looks (the highwayman, i think) but that wouldn't look like a techie/merchant guy that vic is.

Maybe a NEW graphic but that would demand a lot of work, right? And would be difficult to recreate real moves instead.

Hey guys how works the procedure to cange the skins on the models? with a script? and where are this lines?
 
Well I'm a bit dump in scripting I've been examining the B-team mod.
Cause I think there should be written a code which would change the frm pid to the new ones when the chars put an armor up but I can't figure it out. Also I don't really understand the hole lines of the scripts. I think if I made everithng back to frm (I can make it to be shown the nem frm in the mapper) I'll need to ask someone for a help for the scripting.
 
See that other thread about a weapon changing the critter's appearance. Armor is done the same way, except where

op_critter_inven_obj(op_dude_obj(), 1 (or 2)

is written, replace the 1 or 2 with a 0. Slots 1 and 2 are for the hands. The 0 slot is the armor slot.
