I think 120 is a pretty reasonable IQ. In fact 70 is at retarded level. Chua would have roughly 110 IQ. 130 IQ is above average and 140 and on is genius.

considering that there are dogs in existence that understand english and are capable of sniffing out bombs and drugs and such I dont think that I am pushing it. Seeing as Rosco has been modified by BoS I think it is conceiveable for it to have average human intelligence

well, the fact that a dog can sniff out a bomb doesnt mean that it has a very high IQ, dogs are often angered by their own mirror-image...
I have a dog, and I know a bit about dogs, they have a sense of smell that is 1 million times better than humans, that means that with training, they can sniff out bombs, if dogs could have IQ's on the same level as humans, then humans would not definatly be the dominant species of the earth...sure, its modified by the BOS, but 120 is still to much for a dog...IMO...

yeah and a walking talking deathclaw isnt ? ;-))

anyhow doesnt matter, as it was said: it's not our call to make

Fine then Kahgan I will make Rosco as stupid as 105 and that makes him a step above a down syndrome child. Or a very very stupid person.NO LOWER

WEll then what level ofintelligence do you all want it to have

1 dog
2 cat
3 retard
4 chimp/mouse
5 human
6 dolphin

cast yer votes now. and remember i gotta have a charatcer capable of realizing the threat of a plasma rifle not being a stick pointed at him, and capable of traveling up to 200 mile distances alone.

So you want my character to go running into bursts of machine gun fire in order to attack back.

you want it to find the explosives.then stand there waiting for them to explode while a sapper comes to disarm it.

you want him to chase plasma bolts all the way into the line of fire.

please.......the only way for it to work is for it to have at least basic human intelligence enough to recognize threats.

Most dogs can recognize threats. The ones I know run like hell from the hose for instance and a few i have been shooting w ith know not to go near the front of the guns.

OK I think the answer just hit me like a sack of shit to the face.

Lets just say he is a very smart dog.

IC ill just have him know what stuff is........lets just set aside IQ completely it is doin nothin but slowin me down

Have the dog be smarter than lassie, but dumber than your Avg retard.

If play'd right, this characther could be very good....

Whatever psycho lets just do some posts in first mission it has seemed to be stopped all day

ill put fenix back now and bring forth rosco

Heres my idea.

Either have Rosco assigned to Fenix since he's injured, or have him assigned to my current group, under my PC specificly, since as a Vault Dweller he'd know a bit bout tech stuff.

If you want to have him assigned to my group, PM me cause I have a real good idea for how to implement him into some of what me and Suaside have been talking bout over PM for our group.

EDIT, Ill write Rosco's arrival post tommorow sometime, since Im not in the frame of mind for RP writing right now.

ok guys, HOLD IT...

1) before entering a new character, you should at least ask the opinion of the people in charge, being: Alba, Welsh or Zoe...

2) it is pretty fucking illogical to have an elite BoS dog assigned to some ragtag scouting party, dont you think? if they put so much work into the dog, do you think they'd waste it on some irregular scouts. (not to mention that 3 of them are raiders, i dont think the BoS really likes that...). the group will split soon and then the dog will be in a group of 1 vaultdweller, 1 tribal that isnt a tribal and some strange guy in a deathclaw skin. does it actually make sense to have a dog in such a motley crew? i think not, but you do whatever you like...

3) psycho & pyro, you guys really got too much a will of your own imho. that isnt really bad, as it can spice up the roleplay, but you are going about it the wrong way i think. lighten up, this is a team effort. no offense but i'll be releaved when you leave my group soon... (and let me remind you psycho, NO PERMENANT DAMAGE to my little raiders: temporary damage yes, incapacitated no)

this was another random rant brought to you by swa

it does suit the bill doesnt it ? :)

as for my previous post:

Atualy, I was planning on having MY characthers be the one's to get wounded.

Well, Jack at least since he's still weak from previous wounds.

The most that will hapen to your raiders is being pistol whipped and KOd, and the same will happen to one of my chara's, proably my PC, leaving the NPC to save his ass.

Alba dude, get yer ass in gear

you are supposed to manage this remember?

1) decide the dog thing

2) get us a missionstatement and we'll be on our way (you said you had big plans...)
