... snip- on picture of Alice.

Handy, you are too nice.

Steve, next time find the picture and send the link and we can change the picture. No reason to ask Handy to do more work than he already does.

Welsh,
I am sorry. I was going to find the picture but I am busy here also and before I had time Handy found it for me. But I was looking for it in between my walks, meals, classes, and job searches.

Mr. Handy,
I went back and edited my post to reflect that Alice got the .38. Can you tell me what the damage on the gun is? Also I pointed out that Jim walked to the far end of the hallway and is near the left door ready to go in if he gets cover.

.38's base damage is 1d10, with a Rate of fire of 2 or 3 shots per round, (Three, if I'm not mistaken), with six rounds per cylender. Range is 15 meters (I think. Isn't the revolver a snub-nose?)

Thanks, Stompie. I'd forgotten to mention the damage in my last post, but the .38 does do 1d10 damage. Its rate of fire is, however, only 2. It's .22, .32, and certain 9mm pistols (such as the Glock) that have a rate of fire of 3.

I'm working on another update now. It should be done late this afternoon.

McCain will be insane for this round and one more after that. Ortega will be insane for six rounds beyond that point.

Wallace doesn't have any points in Shotgun, so he has the same base 30% skill that anyone else would have. He's much better off with a rifle.

Alanen's SAW is classified as a light machine gun, not a rifle. Hockey already has one, but there's plenty of extra ammo for it at least. Unfortunately, none of the other surviving military characters have Machine Gun skill. The base skill is 15% (which can be raised up to 30% with a burst of at least 4 bullets).

Wallace might have access to a rifle if he can get someone else to give him one. Also, he and David do know each other. They're both truck drivers who have been coming to the T-Bone for quite some time. They may not be friends, but they're not strangers either.

I'd say Wallace and David know each other somewhat, though they probably aren't close friends. They've talked to each other before, maybe even drank together when Wallace was hitting the bottle. The same would apply for Baldwin, though now he and Wallace know each other better since they fought against the zombies together in Brownson and have had some time to talk during the truck ride.

i'd strongly advise not to try to take any military weapons... even if they do suit you. that's just asking to get shot in the face ;)

@ handy: are you deliberately ignoring Cole's past actions/commands?

Captain Lereux's orders superseded Cole's orders to Phillips, plus Thayer ran off so he can't give him the LAW anyway. All of Alanen's stuff is now in the ammo crate that Duran and Hockey are carrying, so people can still take what they need from it.

sure, sure, Lereux can order what he wants, but he wont get the .45 nor the handgrenade which Cole already took. free will & all that jazz. ;)
what he doesnt know wont hurt em.

i also assumed Thayer would already have the LAW, but it's tactically better that he doesnt since he ran to fight.
