I was sarcastic .
And since we are both sicentifically illiterate, I will go with a track record. What have they achieved so far? Well, for example NASA has send people in space, people on the moon and even a robot on mars. And they say with enough funding, they could send a human to Mars. Planetary science is also one of things they do best. And they constantly discover new things in space while doing a lot of research in all space related fields, like engines, new energy sources, material research, electronics, you name it. And they have done this for the last 60 years. So even if they do sometimes mistakes, they have proven to be a very reliable source, for the most part. They have either directly or indrectly pushed engineering and research by a lot. Chances are very high that something you're using in your daily life has come directly from NASAs work. I would say, that gives them a lot of credit.
And what have the people that you see as respectable source achieved for humanity so far? If you see the NASA as such a bad and evil source, than you have done nothing so far to discredit them. And don't come again with, they are evil cuz government ... show some hard evidence that the NASA has comitted some serious and heavy fraud. You know, something like the deepwater horizon oil spill. Something that has affected the lives of 100 000 of people.
I am also still genuely curious what could someone possibly say to convince you? What evidence would you need?
It's kinda strange though, that the Senate voted against the role humans play in global warming, despite the evidence NASA provided, I mean don't they want to controll people?.
Because as long as the human role isn't admitted, there is no reason to act ...
"(...)
Unless Senators are prepared to acknowledge the causes of climate change, it is likely they will remain unable and unwilling to do anything about it."
Hmm ... so the government is out there trying to justify increased government power and taxes, with ... voting against it? Or could it be that a lot of politicans that don't see the human role here have ties and conections to some of the industries out there that cause the worst pollution?
The fuck man, those evil taxes on corporations that pollute the environment! Such opression! Or laws that force you to change your car oil somewhere where it can be processed and that you can't throw around batteries willy nilly into the landscape! Or laws that impose regulations for clean drinking water on people! Yeah man ... that evil government is out there! Better watch your six!
Laws and regulations to protect the environment and natural resources so that future generations can enjoy those too. Damn ... what a dictatorship you're living in ... if a guy can't throw around his trash where he wants to, he doesn't experience true freedom!
Prove it. The NASA is one of the most respected science/research organisations out there. Again, that doesn't mean that they are always and absolutely 100% correct. Like that one time when they lost a probe in space beacuse someone at NASA forgot that the ESA guys use the metric systems, so they made the wrong calculations. So yes, they are HUMANS. But mistakes =/= fraud.Just look at the evidence I provided in my previous posts. Not to mention how the statistics that I've shown go against what NASA is saying so they're either lying or just incredibly incompetent.

What do you mean "past each other"?
I imagine he means your arguments end up lacking actual discussion, instead they turn into the argumentative equivalent of "Nuh-uh." "Yuh-huh." "Nuh-uh!" "Yuh-huh!" etc.
You know what? I get the feeling this is the true reason why you're arguing, and not because of some indisputable evidence or respectable sources, science or what ever. I venture the guess that the topic we discuss actually doesn't matter. You would always doubt it simply, because the government is behind it all! No matter what, you would always argue against it. If the industry was in favour of global warming, and the NASA said nooohooo, and here is the science to prove it, you would argue for global warming, as long it's not from the government. Yeah man, Obama is just wating for the opportunity to stealthily change the nation in a dicatorship ...I know. What I'm debating is that man made pollution isn't leading us into this end of days scenario that justifies increased government power and taxes.
