Original FO/FO2 Polymeshes

to Lavo : thank you for your comment, but it is too subjective... I checked different shoulders position and I have chosed this position. I'm not trying to recreate one-on-one fallout original sprites, it will takes too much time ! BTW, fallout critters are not ideal :wink: I just want to create some pretty cool sprites for a fallout-like game.

For example, my death anims are a little bit different.

To Rain man: well your work looks awesome, I would be really happy to see them in Fallout 2 one day... By the way, are you working on some female critters too? Since the new redhead will take a long time to be done (it's a really long job, after all) I was wondering if there other female models for the player currently under development...
 
Female critter is just not my priority, but I think that one day I'll have to make them too... And kids... And teenagers... And snakes... And, maybe, some horrible monster... :crazy: With an experience that I had with this animated male mesh it shall be not too hard to create all these critters, but not today.
 
Sounds real good having not only just kids and adults in the game would look real good, about the snakes I'm unsure but I would surely love to see some horrible monsters... Anyway I like those death anims

Very nice work, but I wish you guys could zoom in when you show these small critters - use the typical 640x480 resolution please...otherwise my eyes will explode. :P

I think the biggest issue is in the animations, as mentioned in this thread several times, not so much in the modelling. Still, it's a good idea to present that might have been overlooked.

Oh, I thought you want to recreate them exactly as they were.
Anyway, they look almost perfect. just small differences.
If I wasn't Fallout freak, I probably wouldn't notice it.

This proves, that 3D is awesome :)
It's so weird that you can see FO animations running so smoothly.

I love your job. Hope it will get into RP as an option...

They're pretty much different... like shading/lighting, or particles in death anims...
