Osama the return!

What the hell is wrong with you, bob? Are you really this blatantly stupid, or just trolling?

stupid me.... "*blinks*" right we want waldo so we get him its pretty simple to me.

By nuking the entire world until someone "turns him in", based on the faulty assumption that everyone knows in that country that he's there, and the even stupider assumption that nuking stuff will somehow be good somewhere.

Seriously, if you really think that, you should be locked up in a mental hospital. Jesus bloody Christ...

i didnt say "the entire world" he is in Pakistan but we have to obey policy so we cant go get him. so we just bypass policy but saying that we will start nuking Pakistan (in the area that osama is) if he isnt turned over in four days. he is recieving help from the people of pakistan so we go after the people to get him.

He's just joking, Sander. Nobody could be that undeserving of the oxygen he's breathing.

I don't really know, and I don't really care either. Anyone spewing this kind of bullshit should be locked up in a mental hospital because he's a danger to himself and the rest of mankind.

Bob: Face it, you're a poorly informed idiot who lacks any form of critical thought. There is no proof whatsoever anywhere that Osama is in Pakistan, nothing. There is no reason to believe that people who aren't dedicated to him know he's there, and people that are dedicated to him won't turn him in anyway.
If you then start to threaten to NUKE them, you're going beyond any form of bounds. Pakistan is aiding you in the fight against terror, and nuking Pakistan would kill millions upon millions of innocent people, it would destroy that nice little thing called the environment, but I doubt you care with all of your blatantly ignorantly idiotic stereotypes about "bra burners". It would also piss off the ENTIRE world (and no, not even the USA can take on the entire world). And in case you hadn't noticed ,going after the people instead of the soldiers and people you're fighting with is called terrorism. That's the thing you're fighting, you know, not propagating.
Fuck this, if I have to explain why nuking is a bad idea, there is something seriously wrong with this world and the mind of the fucktard uttering those thoughts.

You know people, I've come to the conclusion that Humanity isn't more civilized in any way than it was 2,000 years ago.

Sander- this is called flaming. Don't do it. It violates the rules. Let's calm down a bit and stop the personal attacks.

ill agree with most of you, its pretty fucked that we dont have "waldo" (osama has a new nickname apperently LOL) we have a damned good idea where he is, and if we wanted him that badly we would just target the country where he is hiding with our nukes, and give the poeple four days to turn him in after four days we attack one small city a day until he is turned in. everybody knows his location so we just force them to turn him over.

And thereby become a worse monster than the one you wish to destroy.

Thanks Ozrat I remember reading that.

It is also too true is it not Baboonius? I feel that the only thing special about humans is that they CAN rise above being animals and not spend their lives just trying to survive and breed. Then they can do things to stimulate their spectacularly large brains and find their animal instincts unnecessary in the face of such things as religion, art, and sport.

Although you could say human invention is just an evolution in the way we survive. Im getting too deep for a politics thread though.

At least Bob knows Osama is in Pakistan.

Sincerely,

I HATE how people think thatthe time we live in was not an improvement over any other. I'm not saying it's perfect, I'm just saying that people have always raped and murdered, but at least we don't pillage anymore! :D

Now we can live past the age of 50, and most of us don't have bad teeth. Plus we shower. (Well, most people in developed countries make it a habit anyway.)

That's all just an illusion. One is an optimistic fool if one thinks Humanity has made any steps whatsoever towards a true civilised existence.

Dont you guys think osamas "return" right before election was very convenient for bush? Who do you think was set to benefit from this?

Polling shows bush is supposedly "much firmer" on terrorism then kerry would be. Most people who believe this also are voting for bush. --- Hmm, very convenient for mr bush's re-election. Go skull and bones!

I disagree. That humans have developed so many ideologies and improved on them within the last 5,000 years is a clear indicator to me that humanity has improved somewhat.

I can say with complete certainty that we haven't taken any steps back.

(is posting in a one-week old post perceived as gravedigging?)

Well, we DID take steps back when we went through the thing called the middle ages.

However maybe we'll last a bit longer this time before we get thrown back to hitting each other with blunt objects.

Oh, wait, I think we've got game shows about that nowadays.

I would say that no matter how slow it moves and no matter how many wrong turns it makes, the human race is moving in the right direction. Sure there are plenty of places that are still stuck in cycle's of endless war, poverty, and repression however they where like that in the past. The current places of peace, prosperity, and freedom were different in the past...though they have changed in what appears to be a somewhat permamanent way.

At least now when someone goes to war they dont have to spend hours beating their fellow people savagely with their own fists, the entire time feeling the others person pain as their own body hurts. Now you can just pull a trigger or press a button with little physical effort and not having to see the person you killed close up. Hopefully that makes the barbaric actions of the human race at least a little more civilized than in the past when war was (I can only imagine) more brutal and damaging.

Sincerely,

You think getting shot is more humane than getting cut up or beaten to death?

We have found more efficient ways of killing each other, but we haven't exactly made the ways any more humane IMO, but hey, maybe I'm just a wimp.
