Well don't take everyone else word for it. At least try it. The worst that can happen is you go into a coma from the sheer insanity of it all.

I visit Hulu quite a bit. It was a life-saver when I just moved and didn't have a TV yet. I still get on to watch an occasional It's Always Sunny episode. They have a few decent movies and shows, including the complete Highlander series, for when you feel nostalgic and get the craving for some awesomely cheesy stories and kickass 80's style so-bad-its-good swordfighting to Queen music. I can totally dig that. Check it out.

I still visit youtube but not as often as I used to. Most of the content is such crap.

Occcasionally, I get on gametrailers.com to check out some new videos but do not even think about getting on their forums. Every other topic is about 360 vs PS3.

I've tried a bunch of other forums but good ones are really hard to find. Most of the ones I've tried have only a few members with over 30 posts. Nobody wants to stick around and have discussions and nobody knows anybody. As far as gaming sites, I've tried Gamespot once but it's almost the same crap as gametrailers forums. I did have a great discussion there once but that was pure luck. Somehow the oldest or the most mature members stumbled unto one thread and it was great but it never happened again so I quit.

Wikipedia, of course.

I like to visit the main pages of sites like yahoo, msn, aol, and google news to check out headlines.
 
Used to visit Abandonia and was quite a prominent member, but now I won't even dignify them with a link. Not to tell some long story, but the old administration fell apart, morons replaced them, site went to hell, community died, unfriendly moderators, all that good stuff. As a long time member and contributer of the site, I left disgraced. That place really used to be so good.

hmm. i didnt even post regularly here. i was at asshelmets, a lot /b/, then english/german fora of some variety depending on my interests, but nothing regular. when i was a wow-junkie, i spammed the wow-boards and got several temp-bans on several characters. now its mostly musicians fora and occasionally dating sites if my casual-sex-gf has no time. hmm, seems to be that nma is the one site where i <strike>spam</strike> post more or less regularly.

I almost every day visit RPGWatch, RPS, RPGCodex, NWNVault, Metacritic, IMDB, deviantART and of course several porn forums.
 
I should probably add 4chan and kotaku. I saddened to say that I'm an oldfag now, at least I've been there longer than about 90% of it's users. I read Kotaku because it's an easy way to get news, but it's editors are fucking idiots and the commenting crowd is, in my opinion, worse than anyone at 4chan. At least nobody on 4chan is pompous
 
every once in awhile at asshelmets. and for awhile i was posting/antagonizing at the bethie forums...until i got banned about 10 times in a row with alternate accounts. decided to give that game a rest. :roll:
 
I frequent Somethingawful, but I really don't feel the need to fork over 10 bucks to join. Sometimes I go to Gamebanshee.
