First time out of the vault
Oxhorn is a Youtuber who does a long video lores for the Fallout series including 1,3, New vegas and 4. What i like in his videos that they are detailed and thorough.

To me it's a great alternative for ShoddyCast, your thoughts?.

To be honest I don't see the point, not to say the videos are not interesting but what I'm getting at is the vast majority of individuals that frequent this site would not require it as they are already familiar with the material.

Unless of course Bethesda changed the lore... again.

Wait, what is Fallout?

i think he makes the videos too long, but i do appreciate him making lore videos, that isnt too common

On the contrary, I believe lore videos are done to death.

Youtube is absolutely plastered by "Star Wars Theory" videos, that ask absolutely redundant and silly questions about lore that has absolutely no relevance to the understanding of the movies at all.

As far as that goes into Fallout, you have ShoddyCast and a few other channels that delve into Fallout lore, but I do appreciate Oxhorn going more in-depth with the visual storytelling of the games.

However, there's no real original content going into these videos. You'll see entire channels dedicated to simply reading off of Nukapedia pages, which only leads me to believe the content is literally for people who don't want to bother reading the wiki or, better yet: play the game.

I'll be blunt, so don't be mad... Terrible narration and presentation. Discussing iguana on stick for half and hour, that's... amazing waste of time to say the least.

But... But... But iguana Bob was selling hu- human meat. How easy do you think it is to comprehend such a thing? I had to take 15 minutes of my miserable life, talking to myself and wondering. And then there was his son, who clearly wasn't a reference. And of course this small business spreaded across an entire continent. And now everyone's eating meat from some weird Doc and his midget playtoy. But wait, there's more! The Hub, the place where Iguana Bob resided, has 3 letters in it. And so does Bob. Coincidence? I think not!
Van Buren confirmed

Oxhorn is good, but I'm a lot more fond of the ShoddyCast's Storyteller series. The narration is a lot better, the framing device is actually pretty interesting, and it's fairly comprehensive.

Compared to Shoddycast's lore videos, I guess I would prefer his videos more. Since they feel a bit more interesting to watch and don't seem to have any fanfiction-y elements or stories to them.

But then again that really isn't saying much.

I gotta say I love his videos. They're really nice to listen to while I'm on my lunch at work or playing a different game since I like to watch videos while playing games.

He's one of the worst Fallout youtuber in the whole website. He's worst than MrMatty imo. (I don't hate Mr.Matty.)

I have seen some videos of him and I only like the NV ones. I tried to see some of Fallout 3, but I could not reach the end. That's how bad the Bethesda lore is.

No he isn't at all:

Wow, what a douchebag.. The first and only video of his I attempted to watch was one in which he repeatedly mispronounced the word 'zealot' and I just couldn't take him seriously during it. To see his attempt at interpreting a religious sacrament and its conception throughout history to defend his exlusionary myopia while being unfamiliar with a term like zealotry puts his argument in perspective.

He does lore videos but then he's fine when Bethesda breaks the lore in new games. That is hilarious to an insane degree.

MrMattyPlays Oxhorn Juicehead whats the difference their all the same guy right?
Well they have different levels of what they tolerate from Bethesda. Apparently Oxhorn still loves them, MrMatty is completely done and tells people to avoid 76, and Juicehead will continue playing for his channel but not for fun. :lmao:
