When are they releasing new screenshots?

Most articles are just giving me the feeling that this won't be a bad game, but it won't be true to or worthy of Fallout 1+2.

Although the Super Sledgehammer is apparently back. Or was that already confirmed?

If you're talking about the mutant picture, that's not a Sledgehammer, that's a part from a nuclear car.

It looks like an water hydrant to me...

EDIT:
this part of the article caught my attention:

"The team are fans, and this is more of an homage than a remake or a sequel"

Got two bits right and one wrong. I don't see how this is an homage... ( Unless they are using true fallout dark humour to mock us  )

And things explode in an atomic explosion when you hit something with it. :P

And then radiation fades away after one minute... :)

I think that's a fire hydrant...

But they mention the sledgehammer in the article, saying that "old favorites are back", although they include the Fatman in their list...

Has any preview pointed out how stupid the concept of the Fatman or healing by drinking stagnant wastewater is? There's gotta be one.

if a magazine would write that, do you think they will ever get the possibility to get invited by beth$oft or something like that??
also they won't get free games for testing by them or presents like free bitches or staying some days in a 5 star hotel for free

Whatever it is it's certainly shiny! :P

I wonder why almost all of the reviewers to date have been including the original pics from Beth's FO3 website (aircraft carrier etc). I thought it was made clear that these are not related at all to the game. :?

Hello Makenshi,

Its all nuclear powered in the future, remember?
Toasters, vacuum cleaners, flashlights, you can't find any technical device that isn't powered by fusion or fission in some way.

Edit: hmmm, perhaps different technology but don't particle beams emit all kinds of nasty radiation?

Laser -- it's actually an acronym for...
light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation

So actually it has quite a bit to do with radation...

This forgives none of Beth's sins... but the more you know :-)

Damn, I really should go through science books more.

Thanks guys.

Still, I think the idea of the warning on that gun is something like 'danger, gamma radiation'.
Just opening it to find out how it works would expose you to lethal radiation.

Some do. I think an article caption said something about a community living on the aircraft carrier.
