PC Gamer US ranks New Vegas in 2010's Most Anticipated

Fallout: New Vegas is the only game I'm looking forward to this year. But, truth be told, I don't really play many games as of recently and haven't been following any gaming news (except news from NMA).

So, why wouldn't New Vegas be among the "Most Anticipated"? I recall that Fallout 3 did quite well in the market, gained a lot of recognition to the Fallout franchise, and picked up quite a good number of new fans that love Fallout 3. Why wouldn't a new game be anticipated, especially one so much like the commercial success that was/is Fallout 3.

Ya, voof completely agree with that if FO3 didn't hit with the masses, I think there would be little doubt that we'd be getting FO:NV so soon if ever. I think it's kind of a mixed blessing with FPS aspect of it all. At least it's some daylight for the genre and the franchise, but its so far from FO1 it looks like the franchise has picked up a few bad perks.

i hope they at least fix the AI and the non vats gunplay or better yet use the call of duty/borderlands style shooting where when you aim you look down the gun sights. I mean its an fpsrpg it's not a sin to make the players real life skill count for something.

Ya, also agree there if we have to go the FPSRPG route, why not actually let player skill interact with game possibly like the battlefield franchise. Albeit, I'm a little biased here as I normally play stealth/sniper/high int-agil types. I'm sure it's been said many times over about FO3, SPECIAL only has an effect on skills/skill points and not actual game play
