Pic of the day

Damn, I should have made a screenshot of the flying forests I encountered in Operation Anchorage.

At some point in the DLC the forests decided to reach for the skies.

This group of flying trees?
First thing you see when you enter the simulation which is a promising sign

the variety in the world is astonishing.

A couple of days ago I had a really hard laugh when I put FO3 on and decided to visit Rivet City in the final quest "Take it back".

Outside was one of the traders who at some point started to travel in the direction of the Jefferson memorial.
As the area is off limited during that quest the trader of course would have to go around it.

I was curious of what route it would take so I followed it but at some point had to divert to take on some Super Mutants that were halting the trader.

By the time I came back I couldn't find the trader, his escort or the Brahmin but after some searching I found the Brahmin at a shore but no sign of the two human NPCs.

For a moment I thought both were dead until I heard a sound and discovered that the trader and the escort were actually swimming to the other side of the small 'lake' behind the memorial.

I guess in a way it is understandable but I had to laugh at the 'directness' of the AI, instead of going around in a 'realistic' way it instead choose for the most direct path available.

If the Brahmin creature had a swimming animation it would probably have followed them.

Unfortunate I don't know how to take a picture as I would have loved to show you this.
