Please god, bring Sulik back >.<

Like in BG? hell no! party members should have only AI. they should not be controlled by the player.

Sulik was good. Sulik+ best armour + berserk+ripper= total mayhem!

Party members pretty much sucked for me. I usually killed them myself for being so annoying or had them stay in Vault City. If they made the party system more like the system in Vampire the Masquerade or the Balder Gate series then having a party could be useful
No, it wouldn't. They could surely improve the party-AI, but making them full-on controllable party members does *not* fit with Fallout at all.
Originally there weren't going to be any party members at all, to fit with the lone-ranger idea and the PnP base, but this was changed at the last moment.

The point, though, is to keep the party-members as seperate entities from the main character. You play the main character, after all, not four different people at the same time.

I conceede your point. If they do the party system I hope they make it better or improve the AI enough and make it so you can train them with your character provided you are skilled enough in said skill or if you have a teacher type perk. I just got sick of being sprayed by the party members or having Dogmeat attack me because Vic accidently shot him with his sawn off.

That would be easily solved with a better AI, which is needed anyway - (inteligent) enemies should be able to fight without shooting through backs of their allies.

Wow now!
Thats part of the real feel.

If your in front of a bullet your going to get hit.

Plus We have to keep it for humor!
How fun would the Ian storys be if Ian never shot you in the back?
No fun at all!
Really though if Beth makes the game non turn based, shooting each other in the back I believe wont be a problem.
They will most likely have a friendly fire system in place.

Better A.I. Maybe.

I go with Sulik, and once you get him in Power Armor and the Sledge, the guy is awesome. The best part is that when he hits the floaters or aliens that get close, he sends them flying across the field.

That said, the guy would clear out half the bad guys with an SMG. Get up close and just shred them. Put him and Goris together for close up fighting, Cassidy and Vic in the back as snipers and you going back and forth and you're pretty much covered.

See him return? Perhaps if he's still looking for his sister. Maybe traveling with Cassidy to Texas after Cassidy realizes he isn't that old anymore. Vic settles down in New Reno to set up a shop. Skynet, off to conquer the world, but is generally ignored by everyone. Does anyoen care about the cyberhounds? Marcus gets a job as bouncer at the Cat's Paw or hits it big in the prono industry.

Maybe that could be something for this thread.

I quite dont remember; does Sulik finds his sister? I'm not even sure if I experienced that part at all if it is so.
Even though the most logical is that Sulik is dead, since the timespan between the games tend to be many years, it would be cool to see him reincarnate through that grampy bone-shit. Or something.

No, one of the many things left behind in Fallout2. You would find her in van Buren, her name was Kuritsu (an homage to Chris Avellone) and she would join your party if you wanted too.

Uhh...Sulik is a fun lad...However, what if the player managed to get Sulik killed at some point in Fallout 2, and then he emerges in FO3, appropriately aged, and due to the resulting confusion the player has a psychotic episode! :D

lol only if he promises to not make me reload my saved ganes nearly as often as he did in fallout 2. :D

Sulik is single handedly responsible for over 80% of my save game reloads.

This happened with me in FO2 with Tandi. I always ended up killing her in fo1.

That's the problem with all the games in which you can kill off npc's, and then it has a sequel which builds up on the same story line.

Like in Baldur's Gate, i always killed off Khalid to free a slot in my party for a better NPC (Khalid was such a shitty warrior... :/) without having Jaheira leave... thank heavens in BG2 Irenicus saved me the trouble ;d
