Point Lookout gameplay footage

Music was great ( too bad it wasn't from the game )
Everything else was meh, from the non-creepy dolls to the recycled material, to the non-fallouty setting to the splodin headz...

But yeah, the music was great.

Didn't they originally say that Point Lookout still had vegetation because it wasn't touched by nukes? If so, why the hell is the water irradiated?

I guess that they decided that Fallout was too boring so instead decided to make some supernatural "horror" game? I'm really not getting how this or Mothership Zeta are in any way Fallout, O:A was borderline enough...

It's the same river you see in the Capital Wasteland so it would be irradiated. Well it wouldn't because there would no longer be radiation in the river after 200 years but whatever, radiation works in mysterious ways in this game.

"Rejection of the corrupt physical"? Seriously? Let me guess, there will be some parallel dimension with Cthulhu-esque horrors?

And what was with the weird stuff coming out of the ground? Are that plants or roots or something, or is it a glitch?

It's the vampire nanobots from Michael Crichton's Twilight.

WOW it was awsum did u see how teh guys head asploded¿¿¿

OMG its so creepy almost liek resident evil i loved that gaem 2 did u¿

A dude in Power Armor would most likely slaughter anything in that swamp, but I bet you will get your ass handed to you by folks with double-barrel shotguns. Yeah, I know they're badass, but seriously.

Oh yeah, I forgot that everything there is supernatural. Sadly enough, supernatural events have no place in Fallout universe (one ghost is enough). Unless, of course, it will turn out that this is only an acid trip after getting high with poisoned Jet. Still, it'll be nothing more than some artwork show with two or three types of enemies coming at you in waves. This looks like a cross between Morrowind and Call of Cthulu:DCoE (weird they're made by the same developer, eh?).

From the video, it appears that the player is tripping on the punga fruit, or something like that.

" This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by ZeniMax Media Inc. / Bethesda Softworks LLC. " - I thought it was official, posted by Bethesda.

Anyway, what the hell's with those Bobbleheads?

Apparently Bethesda realized they have to have SOME reference to the Fallout world, the game being Fallout 3, not Oblivion: 2277 AD, the standalone expansion pack.

It was posted by some guy who got the Codes through Gamestop.

Anyway I'm pretty sure the video was fair use and the guy legally bought it so putting out a copyright claim is the harshest thing I've seen Bethesda actually do.

I was under the impression that this would be some sort of creepy backwoods Deliverance thing. What's with the supernatural ghosty disappearing bodies shit?

one can only assume he's tripping on some pseudo-native american soulsearch and seeing people from his past.

Most likely because you could read names like Moira, etc.
