/pol/shit, Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the shitposting

This is hilarious. Do you know why? It's a leftist going "guys I'm not a liberal pls no hate". After the leftists have been trying to kill liberalism and wear its skin for decades now.

I don't hate actual liberals. I don't hate the idea of actual liberalism. I hate leftist chucklefucks like you.

As if liberalism was ever the problem. The problem is, was and always will be leftists.
I didn't say 'don't hate me'.

I just want you people to not confuse liberals with leftists. You can hate 'us' leftists all you want, I don't give a fuck.

Oh god. Yes, I've heard about it. Well before Mister Metokur dropped those videos, actually. There have been a great many people who have done their best to get police attention on a lot of this stuff, and to their credit the police have followed some leads and taken action where they can. There's a pretty good chance about half of it is edgelording and LARPing but there have been some busts.
There is probably some poor son of a bitch at the FBI who has to dig through 20gigs of pure concentrated degeneracy. Furries were always a disgusting lot but hearing this shit makes me wish for the fucking meteor.

20 gigs? There's conservative estimates and then there's blind optimism.

Phew, for a second there I thought you were asking me to do something I couldn't possibly comply with.

Last I heard this whole file of filth was 20gb. If more has come out since then, dear lord help us all.

There will be more. 20gb doesn't begin to scratch the surface of furry degeneracy. There are likely individuals with terabytes of questionable material out there.

Send K-9 unit after him and don't hold the dogs back!

Good to have a President that calls people on their bullshit, even if he does look like a buffoon half the time.

YOUR RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH DOES NOT TRUMP HIS!

How many of those people actually went there and did not get paid for it?

Just don't talk to him....

So ... let us reverse the Citizen United ruling. Have it so only biological people have the full 1st ammendment protections (not corporations or unions). Make dark money illegal (you want to donate to a political cause - then you must attach your name). Make coordinating astroturfing activities punishable by fine and jail. Heck we can even make free busing of people to polling places illegal (as long as we make sure that there are enough polling places where people live).

Voter ID laws.

This. I'd give my left nut if I could find someone who seriously didn't have a drivers license or some other form of State-issued ID.
Sure, I'd be for that as long as the State-issued ID is free, hack-resistant, and available (without excessive hassle) for people who are elderly, disabled, deployed, homeless, etc.

But no one responded to my suggestion of getting all non-personal money out of politics. What say you?

Yeah, sure. Why not.

You know, it's funny - the left had things like Kavs' stance on Citizens United to harp on at the confirmation hearings and they decided "Nah, let's go with the clumsy and obvious sexual misconduct smears".

In my country stuff like women's right to an abortion is a part of regular legislation, it isn't a thing that the supreme courty can change based on who's there. The supreme court exists mainly as the place where it's possible to take court cases when you aren't happy with the outcome etc., it can be expensive AFAIK to take the case there especially if you lose. Then there's the European courts, since Finland is in EU. But the EU court isn't about to force Finland to ban abortions so...yea.

In our country people generally lie and misrepresent their opponents side of the argument to win brownie points with dumb bitches like my Aunt that is blindly believing Dr. Ford, even though she does not watch the news, or have a group of brain cells that properly transmits nervous signals.

In the US the the Supreme Court rules on how certain legal principles are (such as common law (aka legal precedent), the Constitution, enacted legislation, executive orders, etc.) are more applicable to a certain case than other principles. But this tends to create a new precedent that other judges apply broadly. In practice the court often rules to stand up for the unpopular minority (see desegregation under Brown v. Board of Education) or protect an implied right (see Roe v. Wade).

Personally I agree with it, intellectually I understand why the ruling was felt necessary, but 2015's Obergefell v. Hodges (which legalized same-sex marriage everywhere in the US) sure produced a backlash (I think it is one of the contributors to Trumpism). Of course the justices are supposed to rule based on legal principle and not take politics into consideration (and Justice Roberts provided the tie-breaking vote). Naturally people who do not support it feel disenfranchised when appointed justices can make such sweeping changes. The reaction would be very different if the change happened via signed legislation, which would have taken longer, but would have been much less controversial.

Well you are wrong. Nobody gave a single fuck about gay marriage last election. There are 3 reasons people went for Trump.

1: SPITS HOT FIRE! This guy roles into the republican primaries without much backing by anybody and just starts talking shit about everybody. Fox News who doesn't like this up and comer lighting up established republicans so they try to ignore him. but Candidate after Candidate are getting torched and there is nothing anybody can do about it. The standard republican message of god, country, family is falling on deaf ears because people like seeing a New York Businessman bully George Bush's little brother.
2: It is the Economy Stupid. Jobs Jobs Jobs. People like having their jobs.
3: He's not Hilary FUCKING Clinton. There are people who voted for Trump because they felt insulted the Democrats ran Hilary Clinton. People don't like her and didn't want to vote for her, thus most of Obama's voters staying home when it became her turn.

People see someone with the absolute cojones to say out loud what they've been thinking for decades, they're going to gravitate to that person like a sorority girl gravitates to bottles of Fireball Whisky.

"But he's so impolite!" Bitch please. People already know politics is a fucking circus, at this point they expect to at the very least be ENTERTAINED. Trump delivers in spades.

The activism arm of the organization started by avowed racist/eugenicist Margaret Sanger, that aborts minority fetuses like it's going out of style, wants to wish you a happy Columbus Day INDIGENOUS PEOPLES' DAY.

PETABYTES.
I heard Zetabytes being tossed around not long back. These are not conspiracies. Chemtrails? Recently they all but admitted to dropping stuff for years. I think it was on CSPAN. Funny that weather can be manipulated as such and the Earth has been getting hotter. For years people said MKULTRA, chemtrails, stuff in the water, assassinations, false flags...all fake.

But now we have declassified documents that say it is all real.

What crazy things will be true in thirty years, while all the people responsible are safe from prosecution?

The fact that KELLYANNE CONWAY is right in this situation literally makes me nauseous.

Imagine if every chatroom conversation you have from here on out is saved and accessible at any point. Imagine the political dirt. Who created the internet? Why is China cut off? Use your brains folks. Left and Right is a game to get you fighting. Kavanaugh was responsible for the Patriot Act. The Libs could not play that angle why? Think about it.
