My thoughts on America and its future.

This is a low point for the US. Globally this election offers either a slide into stagnancy or a jump into full blown regression. Neither president will make America 'great' in anything other than the military TBH.

If Trump was ...composed and a bit centrist and didn't run to the alt right, his regressive attempts to turn a post industrial nation into a industrial nation might had been an acceptable compromise against Hillary. But from the getgo, the 'democratic/liberal' Trump of the 00s (if it ever existed) was dead. Trump cannot be allowed into office, frankly, and for that, any will clog their nose, accept a shit foreign policy and a urgh internal policy than a shit foreign policy and a shit internal policy and vote Clinton with the reasoning that most what happens will either be across the ocean or across the midwest, eg, more Obama, if a bit more warlike, than whatever the shit Trump is and leads. Even if you have a low opinion of the capability of Trump, his supporters aren't as abrasive or outright stupid; they have plans and know how to implement them. His leeches are more dangerous than Hills.

That said if they both died, or even if Hills died and was replaced, I wouldn't mind. (Who would replace her anyway? Would it go to 'Able (Christian missionary) Kaine'? Bernie who got 2nd?) The fact that these two won...though the field wasn't that great to begin with; maybe Kasich and Bernie at best, really does make me want to jump ship for the next four, eight years.

If I could write-in "the exhumed corpse of Theodore Roosevelt" I would, but since I can't, I'm voting Johnson. The main party offerings are so abysmal this year, the Libertarian party might just have a chance, and wouldn't that be an interesting historical event to live through? I don't agree with everything he's about, but I can live with it, and he seems the most competent person for the job.

Also since he presumably doesn't have a lot of friends in the legislative and judicial branches, everybody else will probably dig in their heels to slow everything down, thus maybe we'll have time to actually consider what we're doing before passing laws and enacting policies. Maybe.

No, it doesn't. They can't even make it to the debate stage. Not to mention Gary Johnson is a dumb shit.

I really haven't seen a lot of him, only thing I can think of is the nontroversy "what is Aleppo", what other dumb shit has he said?

He couldn't name the leader of North Korea or any other country for that matter. He seems like he smoked a little too much of that weed he endorses.

Maybe his plan is to provide weed for the entire world that makes everyone chill the fuck out for a bit. I changed my vote, I want the pothead instead of Trumpster. Update the poll! Give the airhead and that other woman whatsherface a voting option too.

Do people actually think that is going to work?

Seriously, they don't know how to not make themselves look like they are part of global conspiracy.

I think we Russians can make our own version for that.

We'll say... It doesn't matter Americans. Whoever wins, America loses but we win!

I'm kinda excited to see all the dirt being dug up on boh candidates. Now someone mentioned Bill Clinton having been involved with Jeffrey Ebstein's sex den and his rape allegations and how Hillary helped keeping it all under the rug, and there's rumours that the only reason Trump didn't use the Ebstein connection so far was because he was involved with that, too.
Fun times ahead.

I wonder just how much dirt needs to be dug up for people to just vote for someone like Gary Johnson instead.

I kinda hope lots of people do end up voting for third party candidates.

The thing is, regardless of who wins, if a third party candidate gets enough votes, perhaps people will get over this "They don't have any chance" attitude, and will actually realize that they don't have to limit themselves to two candidates, therefore meaning an election between two bad candidates will never happen again.
