I don't have an issue with porn at all.
In fact, you could say that lorn has given me a healthier view of women, I see them as people.
Like, I actually want to know what the are feeling, what their thoughts are, why they got into porn, what are their hobbies?

These are the sort of things I tend to think about when I watch a girl gagging on a cock, I'm just like 'she has feelings too, I kind of want to sit down and have a chat with her about life'.

But I get that I'm in a very small minority there. In all honesty, before I watched porn, my view on women was pretty bad, then again, I was about 10 so I guess maturity played a part in that too.
 
Don't laugh, for a long time I was really think that women did not like sex or pornography.
Imagine my surprise when I found out that I was quite wrong in that department and that women can have as elaborate sexual fantasies and fetishes as men.

I never said that it should be illegal and that (adult imco) people shouldn't be able to do it. However like smoking, drinking and treating your body like a cheap brothel I don't agree with it personally and wouldn't promote doing it. Just like how I don't like smoking but also don't want cops patrolling the streets looking for smokers to drag off to jail, I don't like overexposure to pornography but I don't want cops grabbing people by the erection and dragging them off to jail either.

Yes, because you are free to choose to spend your life doing that, and free to choose not to. Nobody's forcing you to do that.

Porn has existed since before civilization. Its not going anywhere nor is it a manifest of some kind of danger to humans. Its a normal healthy human reaction to want to look at what they are attracted to.

I will admit it has gotten easier to procure and more detailed, but human sexuality hasnt gotten more depraved due to porn. There was some nasty stuff going on in the victroian era too.

Back in the day, in certain social circles, to get a divorce men and women were required to perform in front of a group of judges to see if "everything worked" it got so popular in France they would open the judging to the public, it was a spectator sport with bets and all.

Back in the day (which period are we even talking about?), divorces were extremely rare too, so there's little comparison to modern pornography which makes for a good chunk of the whole Internet.

If thats what gets someone off, I suppose it is normal. Not everyone has the same thing that gets them going. As long as no one is getting hurt and its done willingly, what is the problem? If its moral..well just like sexual orentation, not everyone has the same morals.

Divorce was indeed rare, that has much less to do with any sort of chastity and more to do with rights, roles of religion and social status as well as how people are viewed after divorce.

Romans had porn mosaics literally adorning bath houses and villas. Scenes of sex everywhere where digs happen. They have found sex toys that predate writing. Pocket watches used to be adorned with pornographic scenes.

Porn is sex and sex is normal, its healthy for most people, and if someone doesnt like it they can abstain from it. I dont enforce my morals on others, I respect theirs, but outright banning? It didnt work in any era of human history...they have certainly tried...over and over and over
 
Well looks like the land of the free isn't so free anymore.
Anyway I voted the 4th option. Porn is fine as long as you don't let small kids watch it(ages 10-12).
