Project V13 concept art #9: Powerup

I like it :)

Imagine if Project V13 could incorporate some S.T.A.L.K.E.R ølike weather effects and moods ...

Does not look like fallout to me. The car sorta hints at it but the atmosphere is not all that distinctive.
I would be already happy if those cars would not explode as soon you sneeze on them ... unline in Fallout 3 ... seriously who ever got that idea should be slaped.

if players need to recharge their "green energy" then what is the use of it? - fireballs?

What the hell is this? He's powering a street lamp by using a power pack? Can't he just leave it on the ground if he wants light so damn bad?

I found out what the guy in the pic is doing:

Energy Absorption

The Electrician discharges energy around him.
Nearby enemies are damaged and have their Mana
drained. For each enemy with Mana drained,
the Electrician absorbs some Mana, gets a boost
to his Magic Armor and a boost to Physical Armor.

Not to place too much importance on concept artwork, but so far I think these are extremely disappointing. This is the best so far in terms of environment, but the guy uh... powering up destroys it all.

Hate to admit it, but so far the Fallout 3 concept artwork were far superior.

Pretty decent concept art but I don't really see it in Fallout Universe. "Wait, ammo run out. Lemme just find some rusty cable swingin' and power u...." *boom headshot!*

However, I really liked fog in it. Let's hope the weather system will be better compared to the shitty one in Fallout 3.

Looks like some FO3 rejected artwork... what happened to sticking to the real Fallout style?

Real Fallout style won't sell to Fallout 3 fans. And let's face it, they are most likely the majority.

Ah yes the masses, they have never enough.

I like the background, the character that is holding the wires is a little strange for fallout. Who knows? it might be an in game explanation.

I see two possibilities that'd make sense in the setting:

a) He's being electrocuted, and needs a Darwin Award.
b) Something somehow related to the Psykers (have people forgotten those?). Wasn't one of them electrokinetic or something? After checking, yeah: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Wiggum
