It would be the best (worst?) racist joke of all time; because it would affect all races, everywhere, as we disappear from existence all at once.

Suppose it depends on how it happens. A reverse-Big Bang would bring people together.

Literally, they’d smash together as the universe implodes.

My view about racism is that when people come together and talk face to face, it is actually pretty amazing how people who are hostile with each others ethnicities all of a sudden get along with each other.

I think the worst thing is if people don't see each other face to face and somehow manage to wage war against the group they hate and consider 'subhuman' through some detached way. Let's call this detached form of warfare 'drone war' for arguments sake. And then when you create innocent casualties with a 'drone strike' you just belittle those by calling them 'collateral damage' and stuff like that and just forget about it.

I couldn’t agree more. I think racism is something created by ignorance; and if you don’t like someone for specific reasons, it makes sense; but to hate a group of people requires some ignorance.

or just the divide between cultures is too wide. some cultures are toxic. and when those cultures and communities are found within a specific race it taints the community.

some examples include

white people: "Fuck you i got mine the south will rise again"
black people: "Fuck the police i'm a real hard nigga"
muslim people: like 60% of muslims believe sharia law should be implemented. like actually fuck those people. also religion is a choice and not a race so i don't even know why i included this one.

point is these cultures and behaviors have become associated with certain groups of people not because of ignorance but because that's how they are.

racism is created by these simple observations and then being too dumb to distinguish between race and culture.
 
I believe xenophobia has some evolutionary reasons. In fact, I can imagine many cases where it could be beneficial - see evolutionary psychology. When you think about it, our brain is still made for the stone age. I actually do believe that. However, our world is geting closer each day, we see cultures mixing up, people moving more freely than ever and 'old' habits that might have been beneficial in the past, come now back to make trouble.

I mean some 30 or 40 000 years ago, beeing very suspicious about any stranger that's crossing your path, might save your live. On the other side though, you also couldn't just kill everyone you met, since yeah you have to kinda spread your genes as well and only screwing around in your family is not so great. So our brain is a meird mix of very strange paradoxical emotions really. Anyone in a marriage can probably agree to that!

What we really need, is kinda a new operating manual for our brain I guess, one that explains us how we can actually use it for this age.

i think the most annoying thing about racism and homophobia and all that, at least in america, is how deluded its become.

now a simple casting decision can be seen as racist.

a BLACK james bond? why i never!

Domino played by a BLACK woman? (low key they should've painted her white or something but she did an otherwise fantastic job)

Bojack horseman's creator has expressed regret at casting a white woman to play an asian character in a FUCKING CARTOON!

scarlette johansson can't play a TRANS person!!!

its almost like actors aren't allowed to play characters who they don't reflect 100% in real life. which is ridiculous.

remember that time Robery downey Jr did an entire movie in black face and nobody gave a shit?

we gotta go back.

oh and now anytime you get in an arguement about race the otherside can basically win at any moment by doing this:

There wasn't any hysteria because RDJ was, verbatim, just a dude, playing a dude, disguised as another dude. Within the context of the movie it was poking fun at the character's dedication to his job. It was so absurd the character he was playing underwent an operation to become black in order to play the character. It's no where near comparable to 20th century blackface which demeaned and lowered an entire cultural group.

the masses assumed it was a game about being a bully and picking on the weak and generally being a power fantasy for bullies. when the actual game is a about learning to stand up for yourself and others and actually kind of has a nice message behind it.

the controversy was big enough to get the game's title changed in some regions.
