It's not so difficult.

I've already mentioned that I'm the middle of exams and am to busy to be playing around.Josan12 said:Timeslip doesn't seem interested (I've PM'd him several times and cant find another way to contact him).
Josan12 said:@ Lexx - why do you think it's such a bad idea?

I need some better textures before I can do anything else. I'm useless at making my own, but if someone can provide some tiling rain and snow textures then I'll make a full weather mod.Mr.Wolna said:Thx a lot Timeslip. i hope you will work more at this(like a screapt or a ddl to control this, because i think rain is very rare in the westerlands ans should not be every day or like this!, i like this very much!

yay.Josan12 said:Awesome. Timeslip - you are the best. I'll gladly help making weather
textures. I've already done some tests in Photoshop. Mr Wolna - we should work together on this.
There's already more than enough shader tutorials around without me needing to write any more. This one looks the most relevant.Mr.Wolna said:Hey Timeslip, can you write a little tutorial how to code the fx filters, for sfall? Or is this too much work? Because i will try by my self.

I need textures for various densities of rain, ranging from drizzle to a downpour. (4 different textures should do; I can blend between them.) Snow is going to be a bit harder to do because it doesn't fall in a straight line. It'll probably need an animated texture, so start with rain first.

I've got quite a few morrowind/oblivion mods out, if that's what you mean.Jesterka said:Holy hell, Timeslip, aren't you a Beth coder?
Yup. It uses shaders, so sfall needs to be in graphics mode 4 or 5.Lexx said:Nice progress. I am really interested in sandstorms. But again a stupid question... is Dx9 required?
