I understand if you don't know what it is, but to tag it to whatever comes to mind, even if it has nothing to do with it... At least you could have mistaken it for a FO1 combat armour.

Just checked out the Quake 4 armour, looks very similar, but if anything, Quake 4 ripped off the Kasrkin, not the other way around. Those unimaginative Id developers.

I wouldn't call it a rip off, I've never noticed any similarity between the Kasrkin and the USMC in Quake 4 until you pointed it out. Even then, it's quite superficial.
