Hmm. It's not just any old generic skull, but I can't tell which skull it is. It appears to have a body. It even looks like that body's covered in a leather jacket. And yet no flames around the head, and not a single noisome whiff of Nicolas Cage.

Curiosity/10, and a 7 for atmosphere. There's some uneven indication of a former border at the edges-- if they were fully blackened, I'd say it would merit an 8.
