If you want to understand how the mind works in Russkiy Mir, it's this: all enemies are Nazis. It's a flexible term that can be used without much thought and reason.

From reading the reasoning and evidence posted in here it seems America now has it's path to colonialism that Russia would approve of:

Your premise is wrong, the USSR did commit genocide on a racial and national basis, not just class. It was a thin attempt to veil their intentions. Deportation of local populations and replacement with settlers is one example of genocide. How do you think a Swedish village appeared in Ukraine? Deportation of native Swedes from Estonia. Similarly, the current regime is committing acts of genocide in the occupied parts of Ukraine, as recognized by the ICJ, by deporting children and replacing them with Russian settlers.

Also both made religious leaders effectively agents of the state. And both restricted freedom of speech and expression, and jailed or murdered their political opponents. They both became personally rich as a consequence of their control over their respective nations. And the invasion of Ukraine started in 2014 when Putin sent Igor Girkin to destabilise the region.

Case #2 for Westerners who believe the average Russian is innocent or ambivalent to the Ukranian people and nation. You deny the genocide of Ukrainians in your previous posts but celebrate it in the next one—Pravda moment.
