As you already know, I work in my base's HQ, and I work with senior lieutenant in Missile and Artillery weapons service (rough translation), which basically maintains database on ammunition amount and gives away some of it for training or funerals. So every week there is like 2 to 3 funerals, and we give out 18 5.45 blanks, 3 per soldier, and man, did I became desensetized to it, it's horrible how only in my base we have at least 1 funeral each week, imagine how many of those are all around the country. Those funerals are for soldiers who are not from this base, just who gets buried nearby in the town we're stationed in.
