Scenery stuff and such...

Entrance (some tweaks are still needed):

Dunno. Larger render = more mountain = more work. 1280x? could be done relative fast...

As for the FRMs itself - everything will be done as scenery, since I don't know what you're going to do:

- use scenery only,
- use tiles (default),
- use tiles (auto-split-into-micro-pieces via sfall).

So I'll left decision for you (aka tyranny of choices!).

The entrance could be all scenery. But I would do the bottom line of the mountains as tiles and the rest as scenery.

To the entrance: I think the door looks a bit too much like the rest of the walls. It maybe should either get some other color or maybe a different texture, so that you can see the difference between metal and stone a bit better.

Well, for bottom FRMs use sfall. Haven't tried it, but from what I understood you can auto-split even 2000x2000 (or larger) FRM into tiles. The only problem I see here is that tiles are heavily depended from Frames Offset (X=0, Y=0)*, so if you'll try to use perfectly adjusted scenery as tile you'll need to re-adjust it in game (since Mapper isn't hacked), which means shitload of switching between game and Frame Animator. But as I said: haven't tried it, so maybe I'm wrong...

Tried it, and looked weird ;)

*try to put tile with different Frames Offset than X=0, Y=0. Engine will move it back to default position and fuck up whole split (so called "jump")

With some more pimping, the muscle car could be pretty nice. But on the screenshot it somehow looks like the perspective is off.

Also I wonder if that ghoul is just a one-screen fake or if there are real animations available.

/Edit: I painted a bit over the car. I think it looks a bit better now. Still I see problems in the lamps (it somehow looks not-fallouty) and in the perspective. I am not 100% sure about the perspective but yeah... I personally would rotate that whole thing a bit.

@lexx your painting job looks defenely better than the original. but in my opinion the ride is still TOO NEW! Look the wheels, for example. they need more rust and corrosion i think ;)

But what i am interested more sit this amazing and cool looking bad ass ghul critter. ;)

Nothing new on the battlefront. All stuff done so far has been archived, since I get bored/busy/blahblahblahblahblah/whatever. Don't know when the work will restart.

Because I got Collector's Zone (or whatever that shit is) there. By using it I'm able to manage my uploads (like removing obsolete versions, etc.). And while using megaupload you must type captcha, and I must type some damn file description ;)

Besides that I see no other differences between free warez... err... file hosting services...

Anyway,
