Skyrim Special Edition First Impressions

What is sad is that I expected to get a better frame rate from this since it was 64-bit game now but whatever the heck they did to the engine just majorly killed the frames on my machine. On the 32-bit Vanilla game I at least got 60+ frames and my machine isn't that powerful either. On this so-called "(un)Special Edition" my computer struggles to even maintain 20 fps. On top of that, Bethdrones say its more stable than vanilla! Blasphemy I say! It already crashed on me 5 times within 3 hours of playing it.. It's a waste of time. Just like FO4 imo.
They probably remastered vanilla Skyrim while forgeting the patches ... I would not put that kind of stuff past Bethesda ...

Probably. Putting in all the fixes from the unofficial patch was probably too much work, too.
So they just upgraded the engine to the newest version and 64 bit executable, upscaled all the textures with a macro and that was basically it. Now that's easy money. Didn't even bother adding proper dynamic lighting and shadows. Even STALKER had shadows cast from fireplaces and dynamic light sources like flashlights. Fallout 4/Skyrim Short Bus? Nah, too hard.

Personally I'm apparently one of the lucky few. No framerate issues (I think I saw it drop to 55 once or twice), no bugs, no crashes.

You'd think that bethesda would've been the laughing stock of the gaming community considering how hard they fail with everything. (Dumb Down,Graphics/Engine, More Bugs, Constant fps issues, Horrible/nonexistent story etc) But nope, They still have dick riders over they're pile of festering shit. What is worse is we have a bunch of unpaid PR representatives that damage control for them. As if somehow they need to defend their honor for liking shit. Whatever.

2016 everyone, Don't forget to pick up your mountain dew, The new Kayane album and of course dewritos. :^]

At least older SkyUI (2.x) works with SkySE. That's inspiring. (no)

There's too much smoke in SSE, don't you think? Endless scooma supply?

Skyrim<Battlespire

Only true gamers play DOS
TVRE gamers rather go play Daggerfall on a second run. Battlespire is cheap cash grab, backfired cashgrab. Or switch back to Ultima Underworld, which Battlespire so miserably tries to mock.

I bought battlespire just for Daggerfall, then I found out I could have just purchased the original Doom.

Never knew that was the criteria for being a 'true gamer', I guess I have to turn my badge in.

That's a double negative.

Two negatives resolving to a positive
When two negatives are used in one independent clause, in standard English the negatives are understood to cancel one another and produce a weakened affirmative: this is known as litotes. However, depending on how such a sentence is constructed, in some dialects if a verb or adverb is in between two negatives then the latter negative is assumed to be intensifying the former thus adding weight or feeling to the negative clause of the sentence. For this reason, it is difficult to portray double negatives in writing as the level of intonation to add weight in one's speech is lost. A double negative intensifier does not necessarily require the prescribed steps, and can easily be ascertained by the mood or intonation of the speaker.
