What are you guys talking about? Skyrim Remastered improve the game so much by brighting the game by 3 percent!
View attachment 6293 Why I don't know how I ever played Skyrim as it was in the original! I now see that its was inferior! I am now a shill for Bethesda now thanks to the epicness of Skyrim's Remastered! Thank you Todd "I'm going to climb that mountain" Howard! :V

Lurking the Beth forums is like listening to a bunch of moldy oldies WRT the bugs and glitches. All of the old favorites from 2011 Skyrim, back from the grooveyard of platters that matters -

  • The crazy spinning opening cart ride.
  • The randomly dead and/or glitched NPCs in the Helgen sequence preventing the game from advancing.
  • Levitating dogs, mammoths, carts, ... you name it.
  • The random CTDs and sudden fps drops into single digits.
  • The lack of support for any aspect ratios outside of 16:9 and 4:3.
  • Textures and meshes that won't load.
  • NPCs spawning everywhere but where they're supposed to be, inside and outside the map.
And on and on and on ...

We can't even see the windows in the walls of the remastered in those pictures  better graphics... yeah right.

Can you fuckers quit giving these assholes money? You are part of the problem people. Really. I'm not saying to pirate or steal your copy of the most overrated hiking simulator known to man...I'm just saying don't fucking play it. I wonder why Fallout has degraded to such a low point? Bethesda really sucks amirite?

I got it for free tho, no idea why it was just in my steam dashboard.

I think it's pretty funny that the icon of the "Special Edition" is a badly cropped portion of the regular edition logo.

I already can't play normal Skyrim because it bores me to death, there is no way I will play the Skyrim Even More Broken Edition!

Thing is is that most of us got the Remaster for free as most if not all of us have the original version, as many of us hoped that Bethesda would have learned their lesson after Oblivion(God were all so young, naive and stupid.) or they got the original version when it was as cheap as dirt and have modded it into a porn simulator which is something I am sure @Mr Fish has done. Might as while see how this crap looks. At lest its free because if it wasn't then none of use would have bothered to see what a epic fail this was if it cost us money.

I'm retro-trollingly bitching at you guys (gals ;)) for buying it in the first place. Fight the machine...with your wallet. Course I'm one of the guys that liked Morrowind and hates what they turned Elder Scrolls into - a game that needs 100 mods or more to be playable - so I try to not give them my money at all costs. I'm of the opinion that if we (I) am going to sit around all day bitching and moaning about the decline in RPG's then I should put my money where my mouth is.

I went out of my way to buy a used copy of Fallout 4...since I felt obligated to play it as a fan (sellout!). Just my two caps which with inflation being the way it is and the moving towards pulltabs, NCR Shekels, and Legion monies, that doesn't mean much.

*packs pipe, takes a hit, and strolls out into the Wastes/Tamriel or something*

I think most people are thinking a bit to small scale of "What Province" No offense. There is a scale limitation in the current engine, one thing that probably makes T.O double D, I, E a bit cranky is that the scale of their games is always off. Take Witcher for example, the city looks and feels like a city, a house will have an actual family in it. Same for the most part with Enderal. I think it will be a portion of a map. Instead of this one Provence that seems big, but is all scaled 1:10 or 1:20
After Ark in Enderal and many of the enviroments, even Riverville, it's ridiculous to come back to Skyrim and see places like Falkreath and Whiterun (Winhelm/Solitude-, Markath and Riften are alright) that are like 6 shacks exactly identical, a little landmark or not and then a bigger house for the Jarl or something.

I think the point of this release, was clearly targeted at next-gen Console gaming, and not PC gaming (oh might pcmasterrace).

The only upgrade is the dedicated mod menu, and the graphics.
Which are irrelevant on PC; as both targets has been succeeded at release.

But for Console users, i clearly understand this, as the new PS4 and Xbox One has more computing power than the PS3 and Xbox 360 had, yet i'm still confused, that earlier Skyrim owners don't get it for free.

I don't own it, as i don't see a point, when i have my Legendary Edition of regular Skyrim is better.
I feel like it's a rebranded Skyrim: Legendary Edition.

That explains why Todd brags about the popularity of Skyrim Demastered.
Every PC gamer got a free copy.

Wait do you really find Winterhold to be alright if that's what you mean by "Winter-"? That place only has four buildings and the college with ruins of leftover houses because nobody there knows how to rebuild that dump. To be honest it's a big waste of time to even go to that side of the map(whole game in a nutshell but yeah).

As for anyone who decided to buy the Demastered Edition, you should feel bad. You just gave money to a bunch of hacks.

I meant the Sormcloak HQ, don't know the name in English. It was one of the few places actually looking like stern castles, along Solitude

Windhelm is what your thinking of. Hated how all the cities were in separate cells unlike Morrowind, of course you can say the stupid phrase "mods can fix that"™ but games shouldn't need mods to make the game any good. Of course I also knew it was due to the console limitations decline.
