So I'm hooked on WoW

Im afraid to play WoW. Im afraid my wife will leave me if I start to play it. :lol:

Yeah, new content alright, but the content sux, and makes pepz leave... Ya hear of the New Gaming Enhancement? A desperate try to steal players from other games (a total falure, the doom of SWG)... The outcome? Yeah everyone and his mother leaves the game. Wereever you look in the SWG Comunity there are pepz leaving due to NGE, one of em being myself.

I won't go to WoW, maybe will try later. But for now Ill try SoG (www.darkandlight.net), its free for first 6 months, then DnL will be released.

Actualy it was this who made me start up my fallout again, coz the anouncement of NGE made me stop play swg and look elsewere :)

I didn't have time to devote myself to WoW completely, so I cancelled my subscription. For now.
 
Got FFXI for Christmas, si I uninstalled WoW, my account's still up, so if I find FFXI boring, I'll head on home to Teldrassil

I've been playing since late April and I have yet to reach 60. I have two 44's(Undead Priest and a Gnome Warrior) a 30 Tauren Druid, 25 UD Warrior, 24 Tauren Hunter and countless other chars in the mid teens.

I just transferred my Gnome to a new server from Illidan and it kinda sucks because I seem to be one of the only 44's on the damn thing. So...I made a Dwarf Hunter.

I doubt I will ever make it to end game, but I am having fun thinking about it.

Is World Of Warcraft worth paying a recurring fee of fiteen dollars or so every month?
 
There are threads about world of warcraft. There are hundreds of reviews. There is a free week triall. Consult one of those things.

My opinion: No. I found it really dull, and the whole community is highly deppressing. Currently i'm checking if everquest 2 is the same. Innittially it seems more interesting.
 
I'm playing GW Factions, and it's been dissapointing. Not very free roaming.
 
You don't play guild wars games for that though. They are two different genres. I enjoy guild wars as a diablo type thing, with lots of fun builds, interesting classes, team work, story line etc. I hate it when people compare GW to an MMO.
