So what story lines are left to tap for DLC

so from what it looks like obviously we are gonna have Dead Money at the Sierra Madre, and I think that a trip to the Grand canyon to meet the Burned Man would be a good choice

The Grand Canyon sounds interesting, however I am not a huge fan of a DLC that takes you to an entirely different map.

Yeah, but it's also hard to patch in new NPCs to a map that's already in existence and populated: The complexity rises with each new faction of note, what with cross-referencing.

I think the Sierra Madre one will be good, unfortunately I have a PS3 therefore have to wait until the microsoft bum-lickers bethesda release it for PS3, but I think a DLC based on the burning man will be great, because even though I hate the legion with all the my soul, it would bring much needed backstory to them.

I think it would be great if the burning man (Joshua Graham) wasn't still alive, but their was a faction that was very mysterious that based themselves of off the burning man, and terrorised the people of the canyon.

Why not, if I may ask?

It just feels like they kind of scrapping the potential such a place has and putting it in a DLC where it is enclosed. If that makes any sense. For example if they made a DLC involving New Canaan, I would find myself thinking about how the location could be utilized better if It was part of a completely different game.

So you're saying DLC like The Pitt or Point Lookout would have been better if they were not implemented at all and instead expanded into their own, separate games?

To be honest, I thought Point Lookout, if expanded would've been much better than the actual F3, because I really liked it's storyline and the side-missions. If only the map was larger and had a longer story it would've been great.

Same goes for the Pitt, if the Pitt was much larger and more free roam than fast travel I would've loved it, I liked the grey choices and stuff, but that's just my opinion, Anchorage and Broken Steel (obviously) were deserving of the expansion title, but Zeta was deserving of the shit title, although cool samurai outfit.

It did cross my mind about the Pitt, yes. But I think point lookout should not have been its own game. A swamp setting for a full length Fallout game deserves only to be in one of two places. New Orleans, or Florida, not some national park in Maryland.

As was mentioned, I think the Divide would be an interesting place for a game. I remember looking over the barrier and seeing those imposing black mountains and thinking, "That would be an interesting place to go!"

Imagine having to outrun or hide from the tornadoes! The one foe in Fallout that you can't fight...

This time us pc players are in the same boat. It's still a very stupid thing to do as they've been using the pc verison to find and fix bugs due to how easy steam make it, but if the DLC is 360 excusive they can't do that. So let's all hope it's very buggy.

it'll be a timed exclusive, so it will be out for us two soon enough, probably march, or February if were lucky.

I'd love to see the Hubologists come back in New Vegas, so I can slaughter them wholesale.

Hello all,

I would like to see some of the ideas that some of the developers had planned for Van Buren make a return through DLCs in FNV.

Places like for example The Reservation (Los Alamos) or the Nursery (A sort of Vault for plants and animals, this location is different than Vault 22)
I would also really like to see Hecate's Daughters coming back, a female version of the Caesar's Legion.

Since the topic was ressurected...

I was browsing the Van buren Documents and I'd also like to see the Reservation and other locations, like The Crater (Cheyenne Mountain) and Tibbets.

Tibbets will be great because it's in Arizona, so we could see how is Caesar's Legion development.
