I heard Sidorovich sometimes sells Groza for 20000 but it disappears after quest from Wolf. so I tried to earn money to buy it but it seems like worthless...

After playing enough FPS games, the starting PM is enough to work your way to an AKSU-74. I remember going through the collapsed bridge checkpoint last time, took me about a magazine to get through and collect all of the soldier guns. Of course, you get Spetsnatz on return trip, but that's just mo' money.

I found a nice place to ambush the guards from the south checkpoint on my second restart of the game.. But seeing how i think the game is rather easy even on the hardest difficulty i pretty much dropped down in the barack on my last restart and cleared the entire place out with a sawed off some grenades and a starter pistol and that did earn me quite some cash. Sadly the gun dissapered after i released the guy from the camp even if i didn't talk to Wolf or i would have killed the soldiers at the bridge just to get the last needed cash.

Oh, is that the wild territory? Yeah, that place being mutant city is completely normal.

Yes it is! I actually had another screen where i got swarmed by dogs/rats but i must have taken the SS just as i made a bad move since you could only see like 2-3 heads behind the small obstacle..

Finnished the game \o/ Got the true ending or w/e it's called.

Seems like the "hard" part about the end of the game is that the monolith dudes there headshoted me more times than the the rest of the game. Didn't notice much radoactivity due to the 2 best rad artifacts!
Worst part is that i "must" get clear sky now..

What is the "bad" parts about CS? Maybe a mod or 2 should fix any problem with that game.

CS is severly buggy and performs very poorly. The faction wars are badly implemented and hella annoying, with about a billion bullet sponge enemies with supernatural grenade-aim per base. Not to mention the buggy blowouts and so on.
To me, the story was not compelling enough to finish the game.

Playing CS now but I don't think it's bad.
Actually lots of things improved.
1. Finding artifact!
2. Field!
3. AI

thanks for bug, I should kill all the bandits alone

But bad thing is that CS isn't that scary compare with SOC though CS is harder to earn money and combat with human enemy.

It is extremely linear. And ammo will be a problem since during these linear sequences there's no shop.

Ah yes, that's another thing. No underground labs.

I actually thought about buying the game until I read this.
Well, there's the Agroprom Underground, but sadly no longer, creepy underground labs. X16 and X18 were so awesome.

I'm torn... CS looks kinda bad but you can't join factions in SOC or COP.. And i love factions!

Indeed they were.

I liked almost every underground space in that game, from Agroprom to chambers underneath the reactor, but labs are definitely the most striking ones.

Decided to play COP now and i'm currently fixing some mods!

Atomsfear for some awesome weather/sky crap and COP complete. Was going to get a mod that added some campfire songs but i guess it's not needed.

Anything els i should get? S.M.R.T.E.R. Pripyat could be nice but i don't like to add a lot of new weapons on my first playtrough.

Also anything i should know compared to the first game?

Hmm.. So far i've learned that anomalities are dangerous as fuck in this game and you "have" to use a detector to find them and any artifacts?.. Also in the little time i played i've been hunting artifacts.. :P

Actually CS is not inferior to SOC it's quite improved.
It is worth to play :|
and both x16 and x18 isn't that a long part.
It's like don't play NV because there are no underground...
though COP is well improve and get good aspect of both SOC and CS.

I don't think so. there are plenty of shops.
and for linear, SOC isn't that a non-linear.
and I don't think SOC's terms of different ending isn't that good.
how the hell I know should not earn over 50000?
It's just ridiculous.

I kinda liked Clear Skies but I don’t know whether that’s just Stockholm syndrome. The game really goes out of its way to make you miserable, but I just couldn’t stop playing, regardless of nigh-invincible machine gun nests, anomalies that eat up artifacts, or pin-point precision grenade spam. I think the high point of the grenade spam was when a group of zombies threw two waves of 2-4 grenades and then executed me while I was running away, frantically trying to shove my last bullets into my pea-shooting submachine gun.

And then, of course, there’s plain bugs. I didn’t get anything game breaking, but Faction Wars were hilarious. At one point I accidentally pulled the entire concentration camp area of 20 bandits after me into a camp of 4 loners I was allied with. They decided that that shit was on me and refused to fight back. Instead, just to spite me, they stood in front of their cover and all died within seconds of the first salvo and grenades.

There is also an increased amount of clown-car enemy spawn points during the later stages of the game. I always play all my Stalker games on master; Clear Skies is the only game where I got too pissed off with the final battles and switched it down to easy to just get that part over and done with.

What I really hate, though, is finding out stuff when it’s already too late. First ‘tutorial’ mission, when the emission hits, you better damn well take ‘cover’ on the top of the tower (instead of in the trailer or below the tower, like any sane person would do) or else you won’t ever get a flash drive to upgrade certain armor. I had to mod it in at a later stage. Same with choosing a faction. If you make an enemy of one faction, there's no way of getting their upgrades anymore. I found out later that the best way to deal with the faction wars was to stay neutral. Don't know exactly how you do that though, but I'd definitely google it if I were to ever play CS again.

In between the sequences, sure. And just wait until the end. Perhaps I'm not such a good player, but I was left with two grenades and almost zero health to fight a squad of Monolith soldiers.

Yeah, I think it was Yantar where a real endurance-round starts. After killing about two or three holocausts worth of zombies you get thrown into following Strelok dressed in rags and armed with nothing. That was just cruel.
And it still pisses me off that you HAVE to lose your money at one point. Or is there a way around that part?

For money for me Artifact makes good money but it is limited way to earn money.

So how to earn money?
1. go to cordon
2. do some killing mutant job
than you can earn 2~3000

other method is
1. go to cordon
2. kill all the army
3. take all their weapon
4. sell it to stalker trader
5. Profit!
actually this need goldfishx2 and bubble.
in this way you can earn about 1~20000
for weapon, I beat them with Viper, modify to use 9x18mm.

I'm now should going to Army warehouse but playing faction war as a Freedom to kick some Duty ass. too bad reward is too poor.

There is, though I don't recall the details. I think it's something like stashing everything before you get to that part.

Yeah, you can save your inventory... But you get it back, anyway. Not your money, though, and I'm not aware of a possibility to stash your money.
