Talking Heads

Well I don't want him to be bald but yeah the hair looked more like a glued plastic or something like that I were playing with it here is the result the mask made a comeback but the air tube is missing I want to lead it to his back. (image is from frm)

Pa progress I assigned some materials to the model so its possible to see how it will look. Somehow I will need to make the oxygen tube the black one a bit bigger I think.

Also our friend just got a new eyebrow if its ok I will up him
 
Power armor looks really good. But it feels like the helmet isn't wide enough.

I agree with Lexx, probably needs to be a touch wider.

PA update (straps needs to be redone I think the helmet is ok now only a little part is missing from the head and the cords/tubes that connect to the scopes I'm a little confused with this since I don't know if there is a better word for that feel free to correct me)

Salvatore Update (hair missing to save some rendering time) also I've been thinking maybe a little side view would look good for him I also played around with the occupancy of the mask's material
 
That PA looks really really good. With a good texture on it, chances are high to make it look like the original, I bet. :>

But I think the shoulders need to be bigger. On the talking head render images from Fallout 1, we can see that the devs made them really big, so the npcs look big and heavily armed too, etc.
 
*adding my 2 cents*
The straps on the PA should be like the straps on ski boots, the kind where you when you snap it down it pulls tight. Hope that makes sense.

Every head has new lights setup... and lot of small improvements/changes here, or there. For example, I finally fixed Rake's lips (they're moar natural now)! :dance:

Agree. At this point they're looking somewhat toy-ish. Also, try to improve hard surface on shoulder pads. See here or check original renders. Details of the helmet are looking really cool, so keep up the good work :ok:
 
All your heads are really good looking. Can't say anything else than that. :p

But, like Lexx and conti have preached, I think the shoulders should be raised. Also, you should add some more fine details to the helmet, like the speaker in front where the mouth is, and the thing on his forehead, whatever you call that :V

As for Salvatore, I think he should be looking directly at the camera when talking to the PC, but maybe you could render him at a side view as an end-game screenie, or something like that. :wink:

As far as the head goes, I think he's done! The hair from the render above is great, and the newest oxygen mask (the one on the left that is more opaque/cloudy) is the one to go with. :P

What's that Max? You say conti should render you without a background so Ghouly can make a better quality picture of me? :P

The head update looks awesome Cassidy looks real good though the one I like the most is Max, Lara looks nice too but the hair color were better in red (it just my personal preferences). Are they have animations also?

He is really Max now I have no doubt about.

Btw as I heard Salvarore is ok now so I start to create the shape keys for the facial animations. Also will correct the hard surfaces on the PA and put those things which I don't know what on the forehead along with chords that connects the scope, what else is there yeah the speaker in the front.

Below is an incomplete Mr.Handy talking head built in Lightwave, that I hope to finish one day...oh well. :roll:

Actually, it looks finished to me; I don't know what else you could add (besides different specular maps / colors) :look:
