Talking Heads

I like it more than initial version. Also, I switched to much better, more expensive (much longer render times) shadow types (area) in all scenes (only key light to not make render times even longer), which make everything looking better. I'm finally happy how MA is looking now, so I moved it back to the Max's scene.

Are you working on any other armours?

Damn, Big Jesus is incoming! I hope so you will finish it some day, Conti. It would be great to have at least one TH in New Reno.
I would like to see a talking head for each family head...yeah New Reno sucks donkey balls (no more than any other location IMO, it could be made better, but anyway...), talking heads wont make the location any worse, if anything it could give the place some grounding. :P

Why not port stuff from Mafia...

@Lavo
Vic has been finished though I'm planning to upgrade him in the near future
@Continuum
I like the new light setup you use for the updated heads especially the one with Rake, also I see you made some change on the power armor is it just me but I like it too I also going with mine (far from finished I'm playing around with the textures)

Also I'm trying to come up with an accaptable female head (16-20)

The Power Armor looks amazing. The helmet is 99% complete, while the actual armor needs a few fixes here and there. The girl - change her eyes, they are extremely creepy :shock:

First, because fat people aren't always fat because they are eating a lot

This is totally new to me. Please explain.

Some people get fat, because they are ill. Some might have a metabolic disorder and so on and so on.

Helmet is super sexy. I'll need to create this kind of thing some day... perhaps...

She's looking more like a child than 16-20 years old female to me. Either you're trying too hard to make them cartoon-y, or you need to pay more attention to the anatomy of human head.

Err.. No.

Some people eat more calories than they consume during the day. They gain weight. Conservation of energy.

Cushing's syndrome can cause your body gaining enough weight to be considered as fat. Prader–Willi syndrome is another example. Additionally, various types of cancer can cause overweight, especially hypothalamus or the adrenal glands. Not to forget simple genetic defects that you might have by birth.

Why not just use FaceGen to build the head - export the model and take into Blender...you can save a lot of time on modeling and spend that time on texturing and lighting. :roll:

1 minute of work...

Regardless of the obesity's cause if you don't spend the calories you ate you're going to end up being fat. I would never say that obesity is a first symptom of any disease but only secondary to things such as slower metabolism, sedentary lifestyle, bigger hunger, etc. (These in turn could be the primary symptoms of a disease that lead to obesity.)

OT, wasn't FaceGen implemented in Fallout 3/NV?

Also, clay faces are still superior for creating a distinct character look IMO.

@Continuum
I didn't see but the camera was set to orthographic still the cartoon-y look is something I'm trying to aim for... still the head isn't correct (and as others said she has creepy eyes especially now that I rendered her without textures)

About the helmet thanks its getting close to what should it be.
@.Pixote.
You are right about the facegen thing though its quite fun to torture myself with manually creating heads also I was never able to generate a head that I imagined
But the awesomeness of the program can't be denied
If I could set up a face like the up one you have done then I would probably put him in blender to check out what stuffs can I add to it...

Fuck*n' amazing! It all looks badass to the bones, plus all of it at one place.

I'm about two-thirds done with recording Cassidy's voice. I should be able to finish it up with one more session, so I don't see any reason it wouldn't be done this week.
