EDIT 2: I'm getting this error, D: What am I doing wrong? :?

Yeah, as x'il says it's a known error but i wouldn't say it's common - least not in my experience. It seems to crop up every 100 frames or so. My workaround was just to save the problem frame as a .gif and insert it manually into Frameanimator.

 Thats alright, i'll get it done again. The error appeared for like, every frame I made on one character animation.

Just crop (expand) the image 1 or 2 pixels to the left…make sure you have the pure blue background color, and resave. It fixes the problem.

Doesn't that alter the frame offset? I've found that increasing the size by one side only, does alter it (but maybe i've only tried with the right side...), in any case, he can also increase both sides equally and the frame offset remains unaltered.

True…expanding all directions would be fine as well…but I normally make the finer position adjustments in the Frame animator.

How the hell do I do that? :|

In Photoshop…that is where most of the art is edited.
No I mean how do I expand it? I thought cropping was cutting out some of the photo. :P sorry i'm kind of shit at photoshop.

edit: Nevermind, I've figured it out. :look:

If you pull the cropping corners beyond the normal window frame and double click it expands the size of the window…beware it will always use the background color as the window color. Alternatively go CRTL + ALT + c to get the canvas size window and click relative – add 1 pixel. Make an action of the behavior – set up a shortcut key and simply choose your action and one push of the key and you have an instant fix…check the PS help files if that doesn’t make any sense.

Keep in mind, PastaMasta, that altering the image size will most likely alter the frame offset and this is something you'll have to fix in frame animator lest the animation becomes 'jumpy'. Just sayin'.

Even though a lot of the critter building can be speed up through good organization and fast actions…nevertheless it’s a tough life building new critters.

Alright cool, I'm about halfway done. I'm going away for a few days so i'll probably have it done this time next week. Thanks for the help. :D

Apologies for necromancy, double post and prolonged response.

I've been on holiday for the past week so I didn't have any time to work on Mr.Baldie, as my laptop is broken. When I returned I found my Desktop computer completely messed up, before I left I had the Gun animations about 70% finished. Turns out I had to reformat my computer. I'm totally retarded and forgot to backup Bald dude. In other words, bald dude is dead and I need to edit the FRMs again. :( Sorry, more news soon.

.Pixote. has taken on the job of making the rest of the jumpsuit sets, so you should contact and organize with him if you want to make jumpsuit animations, or you can take on some of the missing metal armor sets.

Aaaaah, wait wait wait, first try recovering the lost files!

I had one of my harddrives screwed up by storm and recovered about 85% of the data. I used the program "GetDataBack For NTFS", find the cracked version or I will send you the keygen (I didn't just say that because that would be piracy, of course :D)!

There is an option to recover data from formated drives so give it a shot!

I'll do whatever, i'd just like to help in whatever way possible.

Make the metal Baldie PastaMasta…I’ll finish the blue jumpsuits. I’ve got my time for a 60 frame animation down to 45 minutes, yes it’s “action” time again, but the beauty of head swapping is that there is much less fucking around compared to body swapping. I will definitely pass the actions on to the critter builders (they can choose to use it if they want), and an AVI demonstration of how it actually works. Basically just load the two corresponding images, and then the 3 action steps are:

1. Import image – load the next image into the current image with a mask.
2. Mask – Mask the selected area – the bald head.
3. Save FRM – Save as index with Fallout palette, and close the image.

From there you load the next two corresponding images. I will put everything together in a couple of days…the AVI will make better sense.

Can you upload them to youtube mate? I think it's time we made that Mutants Rising channel.

Alright fella, i'll start work on it tomorrow. ;)

EDIT: Once the FRMs are finished, who should I send the files to?

That would be very nice !

@Dude101 : Do you still plan to do a FMF dialog editor video tutorial ?

Sorry to be very off the topic... no more question ;)
