The end of Fallout3...again

BOYCOTT INTERPLAY

Fallout has been the only game I have ever truly enjoyed playing. Its more than just a game really, it’s a community. A collaboration of people all over the world who share the same interests. Interplay has let this community down, they have given us false hope. And now I have only one thing left to say: BOYCOTT INTERPLAY!

Yes we all appreciate the work of the NMA news team. Much as the work of the BIS team was appreciated. Maybe not all this was said aloud, but it was there.

Thanks Briosafreak and Odin. (and others)

Bingo. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Im so mad right now!

I wish there was a way to make NO ONE to buy that god damn peice of shit console game they are makeing!

I know very few will buy it, but I want no one to buy it. Then I want Interplay to go Bankrupt and have to hand its Assets (fallout licence included) to a better company!

Just not the people who got the X-Com license, they messed that one up too!

Interplay's Products suck now anyways! why do people buy them?
Next they will probably make a sequal to "Rock and Roll raceing" not that I did not enjoy that game.

whats really fucked up about this situation is that when i read the news... the first thing that popped into my head was "figures". Interplay can rott in hell.

This really sucks. Puuk and Briareus, you have my sympathy, this must really be awful for you guys and the rest of the BIS team. I hope you guys all land on your feet.

I guess I kind of expected it when JE left, but this is still pretty shocking. Fuck Interplay and Titus, I'll never buy any of their games again.

Well, I've got no doubts that I-Play will crash and burn, now. They've basically gotten rid of their best people.

Up yours, IP.

*spits*

Yeah, Chuck, Sawyer and about 18 others that day. And a lot more today.

It's over. I called KK on the phone tonight and talked to her. She's telling me that BIS is still there. True in a sense. One console team and no crpg teams. Crpgs are what brought us there though, not that console crap. This is hard for her too though. As she told me, she lost about 30 friends today, people she's known for 4 years.

I feel for the folks that left today and the folks that are left behind. It's not a happy place but not every one can afford to quite on principle.

And how shitty is it they laid them off 2 weeks before Christmas? I mean that alone shows the kind of company Interplay is.

BiS guys, I am sure will have new postions with decent companies soon. And Maybe start a few new ones. I hope to be playing games made you again soon. When Interplay dies maybe you can get the rights to fallout:)

I say we try and do something, to ensure FO:POS does not sell anything. But at least I am happy in the fact that Interplay has under a year left, let that piece of crap company die and rot in hell forever.

Hopefully this means these guys can start working on RPGs that don't get canned(Torn, jefferson VB).

I wish I was an alcoholic so I could crawl into a bottle, as it is I think I'll just bang my head on my desk tell I lose consciousness.

Still I suppose I-play will get what's coming to them, the dev.s that got laid off will find new and better work and there will probably be another stellar post-apoc. rpg some time in our life time.. heck the Fall isn't looking half-bad at this point..

How about we send them all our AOL cds in protest, i'm sure i can find at least 50 at me office.
