The 'MrMattyPlays' Fallout 4 Review "A Near Perfect Game"

I can't stand MrMattyPlays for even 30 seconds. Something about him rubs me the wrong way.
After looking through his videos it's pretty clear he's been spamming Fallout 4 marketing videos since before Bethesda probably even started work on Fallout 4. It's basically pewdipie for fallout 4 fanboys.

Seeing his insane fanboy fanbase frothing at the mouth ready to attack him with pitchforks for his video titled "Fallout 4: Is the season pass price change fair or bullshit?" was hilarious though. He had to put a disclaimer comment essentially saying "OF COURSE FALLOUT 4 IS BEST GAME EVER AMAZEBALLS ZOMG BUY EVERYTHING!!" just to get them to stop violently telling him to "shut the f*** up" even though his video was in fact more propaganda (it just wasn't enthusiastic ENOUGH about throwing money at Bethesda apparently).

If these people aren't paid by Bethesda, they should be.

No, they don't. Free advertisement, it's extra benefits to Bethesda and they don't even have to lift a finger.

Also, about the insane fanboys - it's not just about liking Fallout 4, it's about directly harassing the people who do. People hate elitists, and while I don't completely agree, NMA could be viewed by many as pretty extreme elitists.

The fans feel like underdogs and assume that haters of popular media are the equivalent of rich people spitting on poor people (them), so they funnel all their hatred into NMA, the only clear visible place they can attack, because if they tried that shit at RPGCodex, they would be gathering their limbs back up after the Codexians have blown them all off.

Like I said, those fans think they are an oppressed minority who are constantly silenced and have to keep fighting to make sure Bethesda can continue being allowed to make games. It's pretty hilarious in a sad way, like police officers arresting people for intimidating them.

Just like every other rabid fanbase in the world, they defend groups and people who don't need defending.

Ehh I don't really like the codex. I mean sure, seeing rabid fanboys of both sides blasting each other is interesting but it get's old.

What's NMA then? The DMZ between the borders of Bethesdafanland and RPGCodexia? Used as a buffer state to prevent all-out flame wars and to prevent trolls crossing over into each other's territories?

We're cynical critical assholes who are still open-minded so long as what we're presented isn't a plate of diarretic shit.
Bethesda forums are full of apologists and zealots.
RPGCodex, from what little I've seen, is what Bethesda forums think 'we' are. Demanding perfection and being overly critical to everything.

I could of course be wrong though.

So am I correct or not? Do people hailing from both Bethesda forums and RPGCodex ever duke it out on NMA and fling opinions at each other on these very hallowed grounds? If I am, please link some of the arguments that've taken place on NMA so I can get some entertaining reads.

We have fans of Fallout 3 and Skyrim here, who are respected members that are important to the community.

RPG codex would rip them to pieces.

And so would Bethesda forums for not liking Fallout 4.
