It's really 'et hundeliv', otherwise it'd just be "dog's life" instead of "a dog's life"

I'm not 100% sure, but the Danish variant should probably double as Norwegian (bokmål). No idea if there's a separate nynorsk phrase for it.

Yeah. Same goes for Norwegian (Bokmål): 'et hundeliv'
The Norwegian (Nynorsk) phrase is very similar: 'eit hundeliv'

The correct or the most usual form (at least in Central Mexico) is: "Una vida de perros".
"Una vida perra" (A bitchy life, a life that sucks), where "perra" is an adjective, is less usual.
