You guys should join The Dutch Ghost's RP, in my opinion. He's got a whole setting worked out in detail.
I didn't know it was still on-going. Do you guys have like a spreadsheet with rules and how to build your character or anything?
I think NMA's dead as a doorknob in general these days. Maybe when Fallout 4 eventually releases, we'll get a good ol' defib and bring us back. Unfortunately I've got a growing feeling that those who will want to discuss Fallout 4 will either have never heard of this place or will have found somewhere else that they prefer. Maybe we're going the way of the Dodo, maybe that's the way it's destined to be.
But seriously man, we should start one up. Open up a new thread in there. That RP is dead. There hasn't been a post since like what, October?
If Dutch's game is still going I wouldn't mind joining, he has a very through background behind it. However, what I was proposing was a small, fast, uncomplicated game with a stablished start and finish, in my experience the best way to sucessfully carry out a fun game. I'll get started on it if you want and we can start playing real quick, but I need at least two players, since it's going to be a short game players joining afer we start it will miss most of the fun. Just a little something to warm up the RP muscle, I already have a few ideas on my head. Also a very easy game for new players as well.
I would quite like a most stereotypical dungeon diving type rp. Where it's all warriors and wizards fighting goblins and shit. Except with as much cool shit added. Like fairies, and insectoids, and unicorns, and dragonoids, and rainbow magic. .
Actually no, that wasn't a spam account, that was a dedicated troll. When I started rallying users to report him, he PMed me in defiance that he'd been trolling the haiku thread for years and that he suffered no consequences thus far, even proudly provided a link to his older trolling much deeper in that topic. It was EXACTLY the same stupidity, but people didn't seem to organize to getting him banned at the time. Moral of the story: Take your time and collect your evidence and be prudent, polite, and thorough when you report offenders; it pays off. =) *hint hint hint*
Yeah he PMed me to. It went something along the lines of "what kind of loser cries about a haiku thread".
Please join if you still want too. I just thought doing a more story oriented one would be more fun to players, getting a taste of the world around them while they are on adventure.
Check out the posts so far, you will discover that I have not mentioned all the members of the party, only a few details that there are several of hem but not what they are like.
