The shit keeps rolling in

Even if it sells good, it won't be better than FO3 that would probably have been bought by every CRPG fan (of course, there's the piracy factor but that is even higher for games that you have no emmotional "commitment" towards). It's a fact that there are a more "retarded" gamers today. That's why games like CS have become popular compared to more complex FPS that require more teamplay for example (doesn't mean you're retarded if you play CS, i am trying to show how these always will be more people playing these games).
Bottom line: FO3 would have been "aquired" by 90% of CRPGamers and FOBOS by 10% of 5 times the number of CRPGamers.

FOBOS has the "feel" of a game that's gonna be a big flop. Though I am not a console gamer myself, I know a fair number of people who are, and all of them either haven't heard of FOBOS or think it's gonna be crap...

On a lighter note, since this is my first post, I'd just like to say that I think someone should hire a burly canadian woodsman/medieval weapon enthusiast to sodomize Caen with a rusty broadsword. Not that I have anything against the guy, of course.

One thing that bugs the fuck outta me is this

How the hell can anyone say that fans of the original Fallout series will enjoy Fallout: Piece Of Shit when clearly, the fans hate the piece of rat filth.

The worst I remember is the Tesla Armor that looks like something from the Jetsons, yet the game takes place in between Fallout 1 and 2. Fallout 2 Tesla Armor was nothing like the image in Fallout: POS.

Haha, don't bother to hire someone else, you're the suitable guy to do it. :D

Whatever...

If it sells:
We know its due to some moronic IPLY marketing bimbo who gets money for putting virtual tits and asses into Gamer Mag Ads. We never have to accept that it could honestly be a good game just because it sells. It sells because the big lot of console gamers is a simple folk. (And I am a Console Gamer but I spend most of my time playing Shenmue (damn what an excelent game) or Project Gotham 2, no 3rd Person Action crap on the console for me...)

If it doesn't sell:
We win! It's as simple as that. If it flops really badly we should write to IPLY and laugh at them what kind of stupid shitheads they are.

In both cases we win. Either we are just too smart to buy the lies of a fucking marketing junkie or we get the chance to see IPLY choke on their own stupidity.
I can't wait for it to be released!

Just a thought.

POS comes out, starts selling like hot cakes, we're all shocked.

What will reactions be?
That would probably be a good point at which to turn off the infinite improbability drive because evidently it is overloading.

I'd have to check if hell had frozen over first. I reckon the best thing we can do steer those who want to buy POS, towards Fallout and Fallout 2- at least then they won't think that the Fallout is a piece of crap.

That's what would scare the hell out of me. The entire franchises perception is conveyed via this POS.

The horror...

FO:BOS might have a remote chance doing well. Yes, console gamers might not know a thing about the Fallout franchise, but how is that a *bad* thing?

These new console-ites will be approaching FO:BOS unknowing, and if they get hooked (heh, I'm not about say if console gamers really are discerning... or not) and Interplay makes money, then it does seem as if Interplay made the right decision, doesn't it?
