POINT: Without Interplay Fallout wouldn't be around, all you would have is Mad Max.

Ignorant twit. There would still be Bad Blood, Wasteland, to an extent Dark Sun, pretty much all of these, and more. If Fallout weren't around, then another would have fit into its place as the post-apocalyptic theme isn't that exclusive.

The point I was trying to allude to before was that the Interplay that once gave us Fallout is not the same Interplay now, nor is it the same Interplay as a year ago. You must have been either that far under a rock to not see what caused Interplay's problems, or you've probably got the biggest case of cottonmouth humanly possible.

You know, I've been casually observing this issue since the news came out, and I'm still as clueless as I always am...

From what I gather from statements off Ex-employes here and then the statements of "I was wrong, what I said was wrong, I'm going to shut up now" they all sound, well... scripted? I wonder how many lawers were holding guns to their heads hrrm?

(don't worry guys I'm not saying anything against you, I'm just stating my opinion that you've been wrongfully silenced.)

As far as I'm concerned, Fallout three was never going to exist, so my point of view is a company who unfortunately have dumbassed Execs who are more intent on lining their pockets and having pissing contests with each other then actually making quality titles anymore... I mean, c'mon, if they were really up the can money wise, wouldn't the smart money have been on sacking the FO:BOS team and pouring the efforts into the sure thing? I'm not a good business man myself, I've lost a company I created in it's infancy due to lack of funds and lack of business, but I know better then to take such a risky and quite frankly stupid gamble as to put all my eggs into the basket that nobody likes in favour of the basket everyone wanted...
