Things we learned from Fallout 4

485. "We've detected energy readings that could only be from da instatoot, and technology=bad so we are here wif da Prydwenz!"

"What energy readings?"

"What? You know...energy readings, like you see in sci-fi movies an shite...now shut up and go do more procedurally generated fetch quests. Not interested in discussing details in a game with talking mutants and zombies ok?"

486 : The Cabots have been alive since the 1700s. OK. You'd think an immortal family would catch the attention of the media or government. Maybe after the first century when they weren't fucking dead people would've started to ask questions.

487 : also how the fuck are the Cabots rich? If they're just descendants of aristocrats (or whatever they were in America) their wealth should've ran out a long time ago. If they invested their money then how do they sustain themselves after the war? Did they own a bottling plant? Were they share holders in Nuka Cola? How do they afford mercenaries? Is it the serum? Would it have hurt to just say "dur we gunners and we love serum dur"?!

All you had to do was follow the damn lore Bethesda.

That was pretty much where I gave up on fallout 4 for good.

First two Demons & Dark Souls or first two Dark Souls 1 and 2?
In any case, just start by Dark Souls 1.
If you feel lost, confused and cold, then fuck you watch any experienced player's gameplays needed.
Just for you to know, if you overtake the First Bell, for 90% of the people there is no turning back.
Make me proud, padawan :drunk:

First two dark souls.
But I already have demon's souls and bloodborne.

Odd in contrast, i have to say.
They are respectively the slowest and the fastest paced, of the series, respectively.

It was more of a matter of getting one with my PS3 and the other for Christmas last year.

Personally, I can handle fast and slow paced action.
I plan on going through them all (DLC included).

But that's not until I'm done with morrowind

Of course, i mean that the animations from Demon's/1 are multiplied by like 2/2,5X speed in BloodBorne and 3, and changing the game must be like changing gears.

And for which platform did you get DSII:SOTFS ? Cuz if it was for PS3, almost none of the SOTFS changes really apply.

PS4.
I doubt I could ever have got it on PS3.
If I can get it on a better console, I will (unless I already have it).

A song of Fallout & Souls (or something)

After my Fallout 4 fiasco, it was Christmas time. The Steam winter sale rested warmly at the other side of the bulletproof glass, while i was freezing on the outside, along the cold winds of realisation that one of my favourite franchises was in coma after bring ran over by a Zenimax brand sports car, and currently was going to have to go through several suspicious surgeries called "DLC"
But in between of my salty (lol) tears, i remembered a playthrough i watched long ago (too much of it, sadly). Dark Souls.
In excitement, i scrambled in the Sale's shelves (while incredibly handsome chubby men observed) and i found Dark Souls: Prepare To Die edition.
The Chubby geniuses' blessing brought my crappy third-party controller to life, only for that game and with inverted buttons (no problem).
I did know most of the ropes for watching too much of the Let's Play, but of course the support wheel doesn't last forever and you are on your own at some point.
Most of the intricate situations and bosses took me up to three hours, but after that trial i swear i could do it first try, a year later and blinfolded.
Shortly after completing it, Fallout (4) hobbled at my side on the street.
"Hey man! I can go out to the street with these new DLC!-and showed a rusty prosthetic replacing its arm- can i move back to your house now?"
In a glimpse of forgiveness, i modded it a bit; i cleaned it a bit, added new haircuts and fixed as much possible. I played an hour and got bored.
That was the moment when i joined the NMA club. Don't recLl why, i think that ir was "Fallout and RPG forums, not SugarBombed/Reddit and hated by all"
Thus, i found a place with people in the same pickle.
That would be tha augur of a new age
WILL BE CONTINUED
Why the fuck have i even written this? I must stop watching livestreams, they make me rant :postviper:

492: 99% of people in the wasteland are incapable of planting their own crops or building beds.

493: "Should we take shelter in this large abandoned warehouse stocked with food and medical supplies?"
"Nah there's a farm down the road, surrounded by - a super mutant encampment, a factory of savage fire-obsessed raiders, and a run down estate full of feral ghouls."

494: Kids believe that without Bethesda the Fallout series would've died off. It's not like Troika were bidding or anything...

495: That it's OK for a game to give you the best armor in game immediately (immersion)

496: Power armor not only requires no training, but is also scattered around the wasteland. You'd think that people would've nabbed this and sold it. Or maybe the Brotherhood?

497: Fusion cores can power an entire building for over 210 years, but last ~10 minutes in power armor.

498: No new cigarettes are being produced, yet everyone in the wasteland smokes.

499: In a world where raiders outnumber innocents 75 : 1, people like Parker Quinn have survived.

500: The nuclear bomb set off at the start of the game must've mutated everyone's vocal chords, they all sound the same.
