This is my type of films... What's yours?

Ones that make you think, have an interesting story.Bonus : lots of WHAT IF questions.

It can be an action movie,a thriller, even the chronicle of some guy's life....as long as the story is INTERESTING and keeps me focused.

Phone booth was pretty nice actually.I particularly liked the ending.

People were bitching that it was boring.Erm yea this is not an action movie. You KNEW it was not an action movie. Please do not compare it to an action movie.

Boring?Pfft. It was pretty well done.Hell the script reads like a thriller book....certaintly well enough to get published if you can fill a few hundred pages. The important thing about thrillers is that you have to get the audience hooked from the start. You have to keep them going "and then?and then?".

Movies based on historical events.

I love them; I can make the people watching the movie with me crawl with irritation by pointing out all the little mistakes they made...

I like Charlie Chaplin flicks and Woody Allen movies. They are my favourite films and basically the only ones I buy and collect.

But I also enjoy some SF movies. For instance, the three classics starring Charlton Heston: The Omega Man, Soylent Green and Planet Of The Apes. I hate the guy for being head of the NRA, but boy, those three movies rock. Even my girlfriend enjoys them.

All in all, though: gimme black and white flicks. I love black and white and grey tones. Eraserhead, Dr. Strangelove, Buster Keaton, Chaplin, some of Woody Allen's movies (Broadway Danny Rose, Manhattan, Shadow and Fog) ...

Aw, American Beauty is awesome ... Seen it like 20 times or so ...

Post-apocalyptic movies. Sci-Fi movies. Horror.

Charlton Heston rulez. Hmmmmm your avatar. A boy and his dog. I just expect your girlfriend does not end like the chick in that movie.

i like animated movies (Princess Mononoke is the best!) and sci-fi (2001: a space oddessy) and horror (Dead/Alive) and humor (Office Space) and fantasy (LOTR Trilogy) and...well alot of movies.

I like Black humor/violent humor movies needlessly to say i loved the eat dogs in china and flashing lights movies.
Also exstremly exciting movies like das boot or great movies like the gladiator.

Movies that leave you thinking, "WTF? Did I understand that right? I better watch it again..." I loved Vanilla sky, Blade Runner and Matrix 1.Dawn of the dead is nice too. I watch most genres but I FRIGGIN hate it when my wife makes me watch romance movies. She made me watch The Notebook and (don't tell anybody but...) I kinda liked it. Rip me to shreds with a chainsaw now!
"Eternal sunshine on a Spotless Mind" was good and I don't give a rats ass what anyone thinks about that.

I like explosions, and movies that involve lot's of them. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to movies actually, unless its boring, or pretentious,or Elektra, which has to be one of the worst things to happen to this world since AIDS.

Then again, I recently bought the Jerry Bruckheimer box set and a digitally remastered special edition release of Top Gun, so I don't think I'm in any position to judge the quality of a movie.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind was friggin' awesome. Saw it twice. Same goes for Vanilla Sky.

I like your taste in movies, TR. Except for The Notebook. My girlfriend had me watch it as well, but fortunately I was stoned and fell asleep.
