If he starts doing SE for Skyrim he would be a confirmed sellout. October is just around the corner so we'll see. My money is on him being a sellout. He once said he would never ask for people to subscribe to him or like his videos. I respected that. It's a proof is in the pudding way of thinking. Camwhoring is so much worse then asking people to subscribe to you imo. If he is willing to stoop so low as to camwhore, what makes you think he has integrity enough to not be a complete liar?

He hasn't really ever dedicated much content to Skyrim nor its modding scene, though. George/ZP does that.
What do you mean as camwhoring, by the way? Don't know what that means.

Playing a game he claims to not like on survival for all them duckets. I've seen them fancy camwhoring videos before where the professional jams lubricated objects in their ass, little clinkity clink sound when a viewer gives them money, same thing.

I don't think so. Al has made it clear in the past that he hates Skyrim and the only way to get him to play it is if Someguy2000 releases a mod for Skyrim, like his Blood of the Nord mod, but that is because Al and Someguy2000 are good friends. Al mostly plays and reviews mods and there sadly is more Fallout 4 mods being made right now then New Vegas mods and more people are interested in seeing Al play Fallout 4 mods over mods for New Vegas which would explain Al's Fallout 4 mod vids are getting more views then his New Vegas ones. From what I have seen though it seems that Al, like Someguy2000, is kinda disillusioned with Fallout 4. Have you seen his Fallout 4 and Nuka World playthrough? You can feel the annoyance and frustration in his voice. I kinda get the feeling that he see's Fallout 4 as Skyrim 2.0. My guess is that Al, like the rest of us here on NMA, is holding out hope that rumors of a Fallout game set in New Orleans is true. If it is then I will not be surprised that Al will abandon Fallout 4 in favor of the rumored Fallout game. Kinda like he did with Fallout 3 and its mod scene.

Sellout: a person who compromises his or her personal values, integrity, talent, or the like, for money or personal advancement.

Sounds like he is already selling out to me, but I don't know the guy so I can't say for sure, but, based on your reply, when Skyrim SE comes out, if he plays "smaller mods" reviews, "smaller mods" or mods that were not made by someone in his circle of friends, or god forbid, if he did a let's play. He would be a sellout.

Why do you care what Al does with his channel anyway. He is his own person, he can make whatever content he wants. Honestly Al has never taken a side over the whole war between Bethesda fanboys and old school Fallout fans. So really, why is what he does such a big fucking deal?

Al being a sellout? He's been doing mod reviews since Fallout 3, but it went flying with NV, attempted Skyrim (hated the bullshit that came with it), and since people are, well sort of, moving to Fallout 4, mods are beginning to grow there while NV trickles a bit. Think the only reason he's been doing Fallout 4 Survival is the stream, seems like he gets a fun conversation while derping about like his usual business, otherwise he'd probably just stick to mod reviews of Fallout 4, Misc. Mondays, and playing NV mods (hopefully someone will bring some content there). Otherwise, I think he really dislikes 4 save for a few moments, that and the weird mods do give him some enjoyment (such as GORILLA ARMAH).

Overall, he's not telling people to buy the game and shit, or giving it 'amazing' reviews. At best, he sarcastically states fucked up moments and says "10/10, Game of the Year". Or actually likes a gimmick and says "Oh that's awesome" and that's that.

I like Al, Watched the entirety of all his videos up till he joined GUN and started noticing a change in his youtube persona, I also liked all of those videos and made my own personal compilations for him making me piss my pants. I don't like how he is now. He can review modders, I can review him, he is on the internet, just as you can judge me, I can judge him.

@DirtyOldShoe And what's up with him being a sellout, thus a total whore? We are not a cult the last time I checked, we usually criticize that aspect of the Bethesda fanbase. Anyone is free to act at his own interests in the moment, I don't see why he has to be bound to a half-sunken ship.
And this isn't the case anyway, he still is dedicated to New Vegas and its modding scene, but the game is getting old and the modding is withering out.
If he really wanted the views and subs , he could make clickbait, speculation and guides for Fallout 4 (or NV at the time). He could also record more variety, be it Overwatch, any Rust-like...
 
Ok, so a youtuber who shares a different opinion to you(yet expresses it politely, and inoffensively), shares a video thanking his fans, and saying what he's going to do in the future.

Why does everyone here have such a hate boner for Matty?, Like, he's just some dude with with a microphone and a webcam who says shit. I mean yeah, I wouldn't say he by any means deserves to be invited to E3(Then again, half the people who are invited are irrelevant reviewers and fake journalists anyway), but he's not the antichrist, and definitely nowhere near as bad as you guys make him out to be.

Edit: maybe hate's a strong word but that's pretty unforgivable. And Chris being the kind of guy he is just sits there politely while they fawn over a shiity game he had nothing to do with.

I don't know @R.Graves, I've skimmed through that interview and Matty appears to be the only one asking actual questions. Like he was asking about Knightsbof the Old Republic and stuff.
I don't hate the guy, it's just that when you make content on one subject for so long, and analyse every detail of every trailer, you'll find you become a bit of a laughing stock.
I don't hate or dislike him, I don't know the guy and I don't care for his videos, I just find the idea behind what he does to be hilarious

To be fair, MrMatty did ask a couple questions about KOTOR, and Fallout NV, he just probably assumed that MCA had as much of an interest in the franchise as a whole as he did.

Watched 1:32 min and that was too long for this momma's boy. The thing is, anyone with half a brain knows that if something is made to sound flawless, it ain't. Nothing in this world is perfect, even someone who loves a shit company knows this, unless they are easily brainwashed or being paid under the table.

I support Sony in this situation.
