Top signs we're living in a cyberpunk future

Maybe a compromise? Lets get on with genetic engineering shall we :), Lets make some super peoples and deck them out with sweet techno gear.
 
Well if a Dragon becomes president of the United States then we're in a Shadowrun style cyberpunk future. Trump puts us pretty close to that though
 
Cyberpunk future wise I honestly can't find any commonality with a dinosaur like trump and the topic we are discussing. From what I can see Trump is more of a regressive influence on a cyberpunk future simply because it seems like he would rather bash your head in with a rock than hack your computer.
 
Leaders in Cyberpunk futures don't hack things personally. They do things like Yugely benefit corporate interests, manipulate the media, start wars and perpetuate snd accentuate social inequality.

You failed to understand my point, Trump isn't the kind of individual to rely on such tactics. He is much more likely to pull a page out of the old fashioned fascist handbook vs using the available modern handbook.
 
I literally described what his first days on the post were.... I think you failed to actually look at reality.

A thing, though, that Cyberpunks are the technologically savvy ones while the guys above them tend to use technology but not understand it.

Oh and Trump's first days in office include:

1. Stopping all EPA grants

2. Ordering the Department of Agriculture not to share information

3. A group of hackers stealing all of the climate change data to save it from Trump.

Denmark apparently thinks about appointing a "digital ambassador" for companies like Google, Facebook, Apple, or Microsoft, because such companies are almost like new nations these days.
Now that's cyberpunk.
