Trump wins

I love how these dumbfucks(or cucks more like) went from #LoveTrumpsHate to "ALL TRUMP SUPPORTERS DESERVE TO BE LOOKED DOWN UPON AND BEATEN" in the span of one night.

So as someone who is left, I feel really alone in this.
Bear in mind I dealt with this kind of thing before (Brexit).
Honestly, I'm fed up with people whose side I'm meant to be on complaining about every shit thing I can think of.
We're not supposed to be violent towards each other, we're meant to be understanding and if someone has an opinion we disagree with, we're meant to debate them.
I understand America is a scary place right now, it's the same as post-Britain brexit, there's a lot of racial attacks going on and I understand that. The people committing these hate crimes should be the people being attacked, we should be sticking up for the people who are being attacked.

But it's descended into madness, what happened to the left debating and trying to change someone's mind?
Nope, instead they would rather fuck off back to a safe space because they feel triggered, well if that's the case, fuck off because I don't want them on my side. I'd rather be with people who have a point and not with someone who feels the need to label people like they have no fucking emotion whatsoever. Of course Trump got elected, I could have told you that. But that says more about the left than it does anything else.

I hated seeing this "I'm with her" really, you're with a warmongering cooperation whore who'll suck more cooperate dick than her husband got blowies in the White House?
I hate seeing this "Sexism is when a Woman still has to go up for a job with a man who knows nothing about the Job" like democracy means fuck all to them. I thought democracy was what strived you.

Maybe the left should accept the fucking vote and understand that's democracy. Protest if you feel it need be, protest everything Trump stands for, but stop attacking people and vandalising things because you feel fucking offended by a fucking vote.

This shit with moving to Canada, you fucking pussies, take the vote and grow some balls.

I may have said that people who voted for Trump because they honestly believe his policies were retarded and for that, I'm sorry (especially @Vergil). I still think his policies are retarded, but that's because I don't think they are rational.

Maybe this is a good thing, maybe Trump getting the vote is the best thing that could have happened, maybe real change will occur. Would it be for better or worse? I'm not sure.
For now, we just have to see what a sociopathic umpa lumpa can actually bring to the table.
What a complete shitshow this election was, the whole thing was a joke.

This election was legendary.
The election was basically the Republicans and Democrats throwing their shit at each other.

Actually Trump is one of the more progressive Republicans, it could have been Ted Cruz, a man whose faces caves in on itself whenever he smiles.

Who also wants America to be a Christian state.

No.
It was the entire political establishment throwing shit at Trump.
You people act like "Republican v Democrat" still matters and they're not equally corrupt parties in the pockets of wealthy donors. Look at all the mainstream Republicans who also came out to attack Trump.
Calling it "Republicans and Democrats throwing their shit at each other" makes me question how much of this election you followed.

He was still the Republican nominee, even through I do stand corrected, he isn't liked by many of the people in his party. Even through I do understand just about everything was against him.

Who also wants America to be a Christian state.
This is a really bad thing, politics and religion should never mix. Especially considering that religion is not concrete fact, it's just faith. Religion should be very personal, but considering America was founded on the principles of being a secular state, making America a Christian state is very un-American, it kind goes against what the founding fathers were trying to do.

It is important to remember though that the Founding Fathers were Christians inspired by a largely Christian movement in Christian countries in a Christian culture to be fair.
You can't deny that the philosophy and teachings of Christianity have been a large influence on this nation that is still a largely Christian country.

If I remember correctly, wasn't one of them Athiest? (Don't take my word for it 100% on that however).
But I do feel the point they were trying to make was that although they were inspired by these movements, they didn't want a society which was dictated by it.
It's also important to note that not every American is Christian, creating laws which ared based around a religion they don't believe is extrememly unfair. It doesn't really do any good either for society as only a number of people would be happy with outcome.

It's like over here in the UK where we are still technically a Christian Country. I hate it because I feel it holds us back, we have the House of Lords which is completely undemocratic (even through at the moment, they are the only people are pushing against the Tories nasty policies). There's also the Queen which I feel would be better if we just abolish the monarchy as a whole.

While I understand it would be different in America as I'm sure it'll be more policies influenced by religion, it should be noted that religion has no place in politics. It's just kinda stupid really, especially considering it could bring Science down a notch as research into Climate Change would certainly be affected and abortion clinics could be closed, which is a scary thought.

The point I'm making here is it's important to remember that were looking at things from a European Christian perspective and their (and our) culture and morality is based a lot on Christianity so I don't think we should also go too far in the other direction and act like Christianity played no part in the formation of the country and is unimportant.

To be perfectly honest, I am just waiting to see if he REALLY tries to build the wall. Its going to be hilarious to see how that turns out.

I would also laugh if they do build it, and it(obviously) doesn't actually stop anything, since its not addressing the problem behind illegal immigration.

We can learn from it culture wise, but it's important to also learn from its mistakes.
Personally, I see religion has something to set your morality by, but not exactly to believe it as actual concrete fact. I get what your saying, but I feel like we should be able to progress from that stage.
We should take what Christianity taught us but not live by it as a Country.
I hope that makes sense anyway.

He won't build a wall. Hasn't he gone back on like half his policies already?

No.

Hes gone from
>I will remove the entirety of Obamacare.
to
>I will remove most of Obamacare, except these two provisions I actually think are ok.

And there was some claim that he removed the
>Ban all muslims
Plan from his website, but i heard it was restored, and they said it was an error it got removed. But I don't know enough about that story.

Ah fair enough.
Honestly, I doubt it will happen, I mean the Mexicans won't do it, they're too lazy.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they'll be someone who'll stop him from doing it, even if he does have the money to pay for it, they don't want to start unneeded tension from Mexico.
