But then anarchy is not possible.

Anarchist thought is a school of thought and philosophy which is designed around trying to figure out how to make as many freedoms as possible available to the maximum number of people with the maximum number of sacrifices. It's not a bunch of guys running around in masks and punk outfits hoping for Lord Humungus to burn the place to the ground.

For example, if people are starving in the streets or suffering polio or being afraid of being murdered by their next door neighbors then that's not anarchy because people who can't enjoy their freedoms or express them because of raw survival are certainly not benefiting from it.

So, the goal of figuring out how to reach that and what compromises are made to benefit the world as well as make such a state possible as well as minimize the ability of other humans to express their authority over others as well as prevent tyranny is what happens. It has led to numerous breakaway schools and side philosophies.

There's also those individuals, such as Alan Moore and his character V, who view anarchy as a tool rather than an end-state. Such anarchists believe the method of tearing down modern civilization is the point rather than establishing a new state. The goal being to eliminate corruption and tyranny then force modern generations to create states which are more egalitarian and not bogged down by the antiquated and archaic ideals of the past.

Critics of the philosophy who don't realize this are basically people who refuse to engage with the philosophy and an ignorance of its proponents.

>man who has no idea what anarchism is and describes a system that's the polar opposite of anarchism calls others ignorant of the philosophy
Simply Epic.

I believe in total free market communism as well as socialist capitalism with total government control of the means of production and central planning.
If you critique this you're just ignorant ;^)

Vergil, congratulations, you have reduced me to doing something I was really hoping to never do on this forum.

Personal attacks.

You are an idiot.

*sigh*

Now I feel bad.

Or the shits fucking stupid.

Surprisingly, a century old school of political thought is not summarized up in a single sentence.

When you realize anarchy doesn't work, so try pass it off as a philosophical theory.

Okay to explain in two sentences, "Absolute anarchy is not the goal of the vast majority of anarchists but as close as you can get without it being Fallout's Capital Wasteland. Just how much compromise is possible before you ruin the philosophy is a subject of debate among anarchists."

What article?

The one defining Anarchist Law.
