I would talk to you about anarchy as a tool but I'm actually not a student of transitional anarchy. Distilled to its basics, though, it's where the government is torn down without an actual plan but the goal to get the people to create the subsequent new state versus the revolutionaries imposing their will on the multitude. Which I don't think is a very good idea.

Anarchy in that organization is a state between oppression and true freedom.

What we need is state socialism.
State owns everything.
State controls everything.
No individuality.
Everyone lives in labour camps (no cities, no towns... just labour camps).
Everyone works for the state.

Let me clarify. I think transitional anarchy is stupid. Really really stupid.

I'm a reformist anarchist.

And libertarianism is an offshoot of anarchist thought, yes. So is, ugh, Objectivism. Which unfortunately means that Anarchism has its very own, "No True Scottsman" effect in that its proponents can't agree on what qualifies. However, that's what you get when you're trying to define the perfect way to guarantee maximum liberty and maximum happiness to the populace without destroying both.

I feel like my academic background is inhibiting me here. People asked what transitional anarchy was and I explained it but it's not my anarchy.

Transitional Anarchy = REVOLUTION NOW, what we want? CHANGE! What kind of change? WHO CARES!

Reformist Anarchy = Reduce government power to as minimalist as possible while keeping the social service structures.

Libertarianism = A branch of reformist anarchy which focuses on laissez-faire economics and political intervention.

Absolute Anarchy = No laws, no government, every man for himself. Which I have yet to meet anyone who actually advocates outside of a cartoon.
