Two more pieces of Wasteland Workshop DLC incoming

This was found in the files of fallout 4. Apparently Bethesda, yet again, has not learned from their mistakes and is releasing TWO more Wasteland Workshop DLCs (keep in mind, even most of the people who like Fallout 4 hate the first one). This is not officially confirmed yet because it was found via datamining along with references to a "Nuka-World" DLC, but I bet the three going to be revealed at Bethesda's E3 conference.

Also, this is my first time posting on this site, so please be a bit gentler on me.

Not surprised. When they said the total value of DLCs is $60 and there are already three DLCs for $40, there's only $20 left for all other undisclosed DLCs. It's nearly impossible for Bethesda making another Far Harbor size DLC in $20, so one Automatron-like ($10) plus two Wasteland Workshops ($5 each) seem pretty reasonable for me.

Yeah but you realize, 60 dollars is the same price as the MAIN GAME? Reasonable my fucking ass, if they're going to charge 60 dollars for DLC then it better involve content as big as the base game itself. Skyrim managed to pull it off with 45 dollars worth of DLC, Dawnguard and Dragonborn were great big expansions at the time because not only did they involve their own little worlds to explore but they also affected the base game in numerous ways, such as being able to ride dragons or become a vampire lord.

Meanwhile Fallout 4 DLC has so far been 2 DLC that should have already been included in the base game, and their "biggest land mass DLC ever" which is really just a bunch of copy and paste from the base game with a slightly different story, recolors of monsters, and a swamp setting. Now it looks like the rest of the DLC is just going to be more stuff that should have been included in the base game. Automaton was already a fucking mod by the time it came out in the form of the Robot Settlers mod. All Wasteland Workshop does is unlock building materials that were already in the base game, we just couldn't craft them. I have no doubt that since we can't craft anything Institute related, one of the Wasteland Workshop DLCs will involve being able to build all the stuff from the Institute, which mods have already done.

I refuse to believe that Bethesda can be THIS stupid. Instead of focusing on giving us new areas to explore, (Y'know, the main point to Beth games.) we're getting glorified cosmetic DLC. This has to be a joke. Just...ugh.

Like I said before, It makes me wonder just what the people over at Bethesda is actually 'doing' with their time. If most of the content they produce is just rehashed Fallout 4 content then what are people doing over there?

Maybe Bethesda's main team has moved on already and left behind just a few minor people to deal with the aftermath.

It's only thing that makes sense to me. Not that I consider Bethesda to be all that competent in the first place but the downgrade in DLC quality is staggering.

So are we sure Nuka World's a "horse-armour" DLC? What if it's actually a nuka-cola theme park? I can absolutely imagine Emil writing something along those lines.

Still, out of all the stories they could have potentially done, and they could have even implemented a couple extra tiny areas, Nuka World seems somewhat underwhelming.

Wait, it's titled Workshop 3. So far there has only been 1 DLC with "Workshop" in the name, that means that this is the 3rd batch of DLC, which means there is a second still to come.

I'm not so sure about that. I think we're getting a bunch of little garbage DLC and only one large one. Two more Workshop DLC and a quest related one would round out the 60 dollars. They've really jumped the shark on this. I mean, it's really telling when the DLC for Fallout 3 looks better content-wise.

I'm having a hard time buying into the notion that Nuka World's some big piece of DLC. I get the feeling it'll be along the lines of Automatron; a couple of quests and mods, if that. I wouldn't put it past them that it's also another Workshop DLC.

I can't see them getting much mileage out of a cola themed building DLC, you can add maybe 10 drink themed building blocks and a couple of PA skins, that's not nearly enough to justify the $5 price tag.

I could probably make a crude one in rpgmaker.
It would still probably be 100X better than a Bethesda Fallout game.

Never underestimate the power of greed and laziness.

Well!
So far we get a mod, stuff that's already in the game and Point Lookout.
Now there's talk about more stuff I don't care about.

Can one of you guys do me a favour and slap me if I buy another Season Pass?
In fact slap slap me if I buy a Bethesda game new.

Here, have two slaps up front to remind you of the slaps you'll receive for buying another Season Pass or Bethesda game: *slaps twice, really hard*

Here's a fun meta-game I play:

In an Interview before the game released Fallout 4 Lead Producer Jeff Gardiner said that there would be well over 400 hours of gameplay. So, judging from this Bethesda must believe that 400 hours is the worth of 60$, and since Bethesda promised us more than 60$ worth of content for the DLC pass, that must mean they're promising over 400 more hours of gameplay as well to be 'worth' that ridiculous price tag.

I have kept a pad at my desk and recorded how many hours I've played of the DLC that did not involve scavenger hunting the GDP of a small third world country for ADA and her robot army or hours hunting for regular old radstag steaks for the Deathclaw traps and other things I could have been doing just the same in the base game.

So far ... I have clocked in 2.5 hours.

So when on Reddit someone asks like they do every single day 'Is the Fallout 4 Season Pass worth it yet?' I can tell them as a scientific fact it is exactly 0.625% worth it.

Thank God for Maths.
