Fallout 2 mod Unofficial MIB88 MegaMod Gameplay Help

I have a two questions.

1) Is it possible to repair the Barrett M82 that you find in the Arroyo Temple?

2) Is there any purpose to that truck outside the Den?
 
It's probably been mentioned a couple of times but... I'm a bit stuck in EPA. The problem is I did the quests for holograms, even got to the level with the ladder leading topside to the doctor, but still can't solve the light problem? Tried to fix generators, computers and such, but nothing works. Also i found a piece of paper with a password? Could it be of some use to this problem? I'm not asking for a walkthrough, but a little hint would be welcome.

Two additional questions?
1) Is the GGG situated in EPA?
2) So what's the deal with the heartpills? I gave it to Cassidy, yes, but should i receive some sort of reaction or xp? Or do they simply allow him to use drugs without the threat of dying from a heart attack?

Start with reading the EPA readme file.

Put them in Cassidy's inventory. If he has them, you can use hard drugs on him without killing him.
 
Ok, so I did the quests for the holograms, fixed the power in EPA, got a shot from the doctor (after that I don't get any dialogue options, he just says that he's got nothing left for me to do), and it seems there's nothing left to be done here. I fixed the hologram that couldn't speak properly, but there is nothing i could talk about with him. I found the information about GGG in one of the computers, but I can't talk about it with anyone. Also I tried to kill the doctor and free the prisoner - should I receive additional exp points for that? Can anything be done to help the depressed Mr. Handy?

PS: Does the ghoul armor exist?

Hi, i downloaded the MegaMod 3 days ago, desisntalled FO2 and all its mods and installed again with the MegaMod, i've putted the 2.0, after that the older 2.1 and than the newest 2.1... Looks like its working fine, but i can't save the game!!! tried installing lots of times, but nothing... Any clue?
Also, is it compatible with FO2 Engine Tweaks?
And, finnaly, i was looking the itens with F2Wedit and 5/6 itens not exist... :(

Same goes for the shaman mortar + pestle & pipe you get from Hakunin if you go that route.

I'll make it clear for all people, who like me couldn't figure it out. To hsrpen spear (or make any other tricky thing):
1) Left click on your character in game.
2) Wait until menu pops up.
3) Choose binocular. You will get to Mr. Fixit interface.
From here it all will be clear.
 
I have a problem with the vegetable kid. When fight with "strong slave" starts, game hangs. More precisely, game starts to thinks over second turn of Ned (the strong slave) and just hangs. First turn everything is going fine. I have in the room that kid, Ned, Sulik, Klint, Yellow dog. Fight is going on at night.
I'd skip that quest but I'll fail Arroyo quest for saving crops.
Any ideas how I can solve this problem?
 
Yes, I'm completely stalled in this moment :( I noticed that Yellow dog and kid both become hostile after I talk to Ned. I also managed to kill Ned during first turn. Game hangs anyway.
 
A couple of things, first. Please edit your post if you are the last one who posted and there is only a short time between posts. Also, this sounds like a bug, so it would belong in the technical issues thread.

However, it's no bug I have ever encountered before. The kid is supposed to become hostile and run away. I would ask you to try these. First, don't block the door. Keep it open so the kid can run out of the room while you finish the job. After that, try fighting without the yellow dog being near you. He isn't really a party member. Finally, try fighting without Sulik in your party. Please let me know what you find.

Kid became hostile and ran away. Doorway was not blocked. I tried to fight Ned with only my character in party. I've asked Sulik and Klint to "wait here". But I cannot get rid of yellow dog. It comes after me to the room. Or it may be in the next room, right behind the wall, "near me". It doesn't bite me or any of party members, but becomes hostile.
I also tried to kill yellow dog. Even without talking to Ned. After I kill it - game hangs with same symptoms :)

Anyway please don't bother - I've uninstalled Fallout 2. I better stick with Baldur's Gate series, I guess :)
 
I have few problems in EPA. Is there any way to open/override those locked doors with codes? I have finished all Doctors quests and 2 from holograms yet i cant find any clue how to open these doors. I also cant figure out how to get that woman out of suspension tank alive.
 
Ok. So, there are some guy at VC Courtyard, that asked me for getting him out of, lets say, prison, to help his sick brother or sth. But, there is no problem in opening the door Guards, named Guard 1 and Guard 2, have no objection in walking to or from that prison and any tryies to chat with them get no results. Anyway, that guy behind fence keeps saying "The doors is still closed/locked." WTH? Should I >damage< somehow fence? OR a bug?
About that door - it was both closed and open in the same time. I mean, I can open it at any time, but using a lockpick set on it results in "You have disabled lock on this door" +25xp.

This whole section was bugged. It was an addition from the Alternative Life mod that I had to remove as it was leading to even more problems. I hope to have all issues with the guards, door, the male prisoner, and the female prisoner (and the location she reveals) in the next release.
 
There was at least 2 new locations which I never seen before: Collyweb and Abbey. Who I must speak with, to reveal that location? Or, maybe, which towns and which part of it I must visit?

Collyweb still hasn't been translated... I give up asking for help. Abbey is pretty obvious if you read the FO bibles or if you think about the other Churches in the game (New Reno).
 
I'm trying to complete the mission for the Cold Hearts where I'm supposed to get a tribute from Tubby in the Den but I can't find any dialogue options for it. I skimmed through the text but apparently I was supposed to plant a skull and give that candy to the kids but it doesn't work.


I also "completed" that mission where I escort Jimmy to New Reno. Fence tells me to speak to Jack but I get no new dialogue options with him. Was I supposed to help Jimmy fight the Salvatore guys? Or is this a bug?
 
You seriously cant get the Den kids to steal from you :lol: haha. The easiest way to do it, is to dump all your inventory except the candy, and wait for the little bastard to nick it.

There is a new map for "Salvatores stash" you are supposed to help Jimmy raid it.
 
I did get the kids to steal the candy from me but what's supposed to happen next? The candy just ends up in Tubby's inventory store
