I didn't find the GGG, the Ion Blaster (I recall reading it was scrapped), Ghoul Armor in the EPA...what did I do wrong? I spoke with the Security Hologram and completed his quest. He then dismisses me whenever I try to speak with him, telling me that he wants nothing more to do with me.

For the GGG, can't help you, but MIB88 or killap said that there will be more way to get it; not only one...

Ghoul Armor; should be in the blue section; need the password to use the elevator.(I think)

As for the Security Hologram; he should give you the security card to access locked door. Then you can go on the red lvl and open almost all the doors there.

There is no ion gun. As for the GGG, well, I messed something up in an earlier version of the Megamod. You only had one chance to get it when you spoke to one of the characters at the EPA. But, ever since 2.32, if not earlier, I added the possibility of of getting it anytime you talked to this character... as long as you met the requirements.

I'll give you a hint, though: I know that you don't have a certain character in your party.

Jeezus! You actually DID include the 'GGG'? Megamod must be a LOT more difficult than I imagined if the game is still balanced! :D

'Ghoul Armor' is the 'Environmental Armor' ? Yes, found in EPA Blue level in RP, but maybe a different place in MM since killap changed Chris Parks' maps to fit his project.

They say that there is no spoon, also.
So, what did I found in Crashed Federation Shuttle encounter? :P

 (about the spoon)
The phaser is at the Federation encounter. That was something I took from Seraph's unofficial patch.

Also, I don't think 'Ghoul Armor' was fully implemented. I have it in the files (and it was mentioned in one of the computers), but I don't think it is actually placed on any map... only that 'Environmental armor', and that is supposed to be something else.

1. How to me to pass the quest of general Brigginsa on a finding of the lost soldiers of the Enclave? In military base I was earlier and now there are no corpses of soldiers, only blood.

2. On some locations it is impossible to return because of that that game takes off because of memory leak at enter to these locations. Like this glitch was and in Alternative Life

Sorry for bad english

First, never apologize for 'bad English'. You were understandable, and at least you made the effort to learn another language.

I'm afraid I can't really help you with the quests other than to say that there were a number of bugs even before I added Alternative Life to the Megamod. I made more after I added it, and didn't have enough time to playtest it before I had to go away for work.
And unfortunately, I don't know what causes the memory leak either. Others have reported it at random times and at the Sierra Army Depot.

Sorry but where can I the location of Carson City?? Do I miss something?

And for the BOS bunker; the location appear after doing something; I guess but cannot recall what.. :(

:help:

Regarding the safe in Redding, I had already stolen everything out of that and he just says something like "what's the score?" then I have to say "nothing".

That's why I thought maybe I had to rob the bank as well since he told me this would cost me. He still didn't respond after robbing the bank.

I am having the exact same problem, I took everything out of the safe beside the bookshelf. Quest giver still says the same thing.

I have a question. In 2.32 patch notes it says that rare ( yeah right an entire army has it) armors like power and advanced power armors will require a certain level of repair and science to successfully salvage. I am at 126 science and 96 repair and i still cant salvage squat. Could anyone give info on this one?

By the by, it appears that you did not , purposely or otherwise, include King Arthur and his knights in the science repair requirements. I was able to loot advanced power armor of Arthur and 2 suits of power armor from their corpses. ( granted i only killed these 3)

You're right: I have not changed it for King Arthur's Knights. Changing the codes for salvaging armor is a slow process. I haven't changed it on many scripts. The most notable change is the Advanced Power Armor from Enclave personnel at Navarro and in those random patrol encounters. You will need the proper repair and science skills then. I won't post them here, but, if/when a guide is underway I will release the information to that person (or people). I will tell you that your skills are not high enough for some armors, though...definitely not high enough for Advanced Power Armor.

I started a guide/walkthrough for Megamod you can find here. (May contain spoilers!)

This is just a start. I haven't played very far through the game yet, and I know I've missed many things. Megamod is too big for one person to find out about everything it has to offer, so I need help.

Any little piece you can help with would be useful: Experience values, Minimum/maximum skill/trait requirements, Additions, Corrections, More details, anything will help make it better and more complete.

Most of the page was taken from posts in this thread and not given any credit for. Sorry for that, but it was often 2-3 people adding clues and solutions to a single problem, so I wasn't sure who to credit. If you send me anything, however, I will be sure to give proper credit.

It's not a bug list, but if some quest is at least partially implemented and just not working or finished yet, then it should be there still, so the entry can be changed when MIB88 fixes it. Hopefully we can keep up and the page will be useful for those times we get stuck somewhere. :)

Hey, that's great. Would you mind hosting this and the resto one, on the wiki to? it will make them easier to find, and it will make it easier for others to input into it.

@Dude101,
Thanks. :) I thought about that, and it would sure make things a lot easier, but never saw a game or mod walkthrough on a Wiki page and figured it might be against their rules or something.

I'll add the page. The worst that could happen would be they would take it down.

Ok, that page is up at Vault-Tec

Not everything from what I had is added yet, and if someone can make the format better, please do!

Can anybody help me with Mr. Fixit entries?
What kinds of things can be made and who can give you training? Is the training one time only, or can you go back later and learn more?

So far, I learned to make some items from Hakunin, leather armors from Balthus, and electronic lockpicks from Vic, but there must be more than this. I think it must be Jordan or Lucas who teaches you how to skin Pig Rats and Geckos, but couldn't become a hunter to find out.

The list of items that can be made can be found in the test0.msg. You can only be taught to do something once. Rather, only one entry for a particular item will appear. Once you learn something, there is no going back to learn more from that NPC/location. As for who can teach you what, well, I'm not gonna post that here, but I'll drop you a message about them.

Are these bugs? (Primitive Tribe, BOS, Vault 23)

I'm not sure I'm posting in the right forum (I'm new here and a bit lost).

I am running MegaMod v2.33, and I have hit upon a few bugs which I have not seen mentioned anywhere.

1. When I go to the Primitive Tribe Fallout crashes cleanly. That is, it disappears completely, leaving me with my desktop, unchanged, uncorrupt (that's why I said "crashes cleanly"). This is quite regular, not random at all, I simply cannot get to Primitive Tribe at all, period. I have tried running Fallout without my firewall etc (Agnitum Outpost, Net-Commando, Spybot S&D and some more), to no avail, it still crashes as soon as I enter Primitive Tribe.

2. Vault 23. If I enter the back cave where the giant rat is, all seems to go well, until I save my game. Then I cannot restore it, I get an error message telling me that the file is corrupt. Same thing if I return to SF first (or anywhere for that matter), then save: I cannot reload my game.

3. BOS Research Facility. When I go back there with the biomed gel for Dr Steel the guards at the entrance won't let me in at all.

As for (1) I tried walking to Primitive (thinking the bug might have to do with the car). Same thing. I also thought it might have to do with my OS (WinME) but that doesn't make sense at all to me.

(2) I had encountered a similar problem with Scrapheap with v.2.32. All games saved after visiting Scrapheap were corrupt. This is no longer the case with version 2.33, yet the problem with Vault 23 seems strangely similar with Scrapheap of version 2.32

(3) BOS Research. I cannot think of anything but a bug in the script. Could it possibly be because my party wears armour filched from Arthur's knights killed at Vorpal Rat Cave? I came across the Vorpal Rat quite early in the game and the knights are dead easy to take out with just a .223 pistol (or even a hunting rifle if you've got enough ammo).

Re: Are these bugs? (Primitive Tribe, BOS, Vault 23)

There are a lot of issues with Vault 23 and the BOS locations. I didn't have time to playtest anything before going away for work, so it was rather rushed. But, a few things:

I'll answer here, but please send any bug reports to the other thread on technical issues.

There is no reason for the Primitive Tribe not to work. I haven't changed anything with it in a long time. Which part crashes, though? Does it crash as soon as you click on the green circle? Or does it crash when you have walked through the forest to the exit grid to the north?

I recently discovered an issue with Vault 23. There were actually 2 problems, either of them could have been the cause of the crashing and failure to save: map names and an incorrect proto file. I have fixed those errors for the next release.

Definitely a problem with the guards' script at the Research Facility. The armor you are wearing doesn't matter. However, try going in alone.
